We are so disappointed! We gave this a try based on previous reviews. Restaurant was empty when we arrived. We were served chips and salsa which ended up being the best part of our meal. Shrimp tacos were not the sort of authentic we expected… I mean we’re from Chicago where we have lots of authentic Mexican fare. They were basically shrimps, green peppers(?!) and onion. Really?! Hubby had a burrito which ended up being ground beef in a tortilla… nothing else! Sorry, but we would not recommend.

Service war schnell und freundlich. Sehr leckeres Essen zu einem sehr guten Preis. Vorweg gib es ein paar Nachos. Das Ambiente ist eher kühl, aber durchaus okay. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

We stopped for lunch and had the best, shrimp taco salad ever! Chocked full with very nicely spiced shrimp! Will definitely return!

We had gone to this restaurant when it was an IHOP and it wasn’t a good experience then. But based on some reviews, we decided to try Tres Amigos. No wait on Saturday night which was nice. The chips and salsa were just ok. They don’t have margaritas. Beer and wine and soft drinks were on the menu. Everyone in our party’s entrées were good though. My daughters steak and fries kid meal was pretty good. The steak was a little rubbery but overall pretty good. The service was good. Points for no wait, good food, good service, and revamping the place.

We are from NM and like spice in our Mexican food. Here you can add it by using grungy hot sauce on the table. Ick. The salsa, though not spicy, was tasty and the chips were good. Their tacos were large and full of meat. We also had the Taquitos which were just okay. The guacamole was very good. Not someplace I would hurry back to.

Wow! This is probably the best Mexican Restaurants I have ever been too and I have been to quite a few. It’s location is not fancy, but boy they serve some tasty, fresh food! Service was wonderful! More people should try this place! Fajitas are yummy!!! Will definitely go again!

This place is outstanding. If you love real authentic hispanic food, do not pass this place up. Our waitress was extremely friendly. The place isnt much to look at, but it wont matter once you taste the food. The brought out chips and salsa right away. As soon as we tasted the tortilla chips and salsa we knew it was the real deal. I ordered the fish tacos and my boyfriend got the hot and spicy burrito. There was three fish tacos that came on tortilla, you can get corn or flower, with a spicy tomatillo sauce and fresh pico de gallo. It had a side of rice and beans. Everything was out of control good. My boyfriends burrito was huge with beef tips and salsa on top. He loved it. We then tried their flan. I had never tried flan before. It was to die for. You have to try it. This place is spectacular and we will be back.

Place is simple and a great spot for families. Food was delicious. Big portions for a reasonable price. Was pleasantly surprised with a free meal for kids on Sunday’s. Would highly recommend.

The food is outstanding! I’ve been to a few different Mexican restaurants within Melbourne/Palm Bay area, while the others are good eats, Tres Amigos is GREAT eats! They start your meal out with chips and home made salsa, which was very fresh, and had a nice kick to it! The service is great and personable, they aim to make their guest happy and satisfied. There was a very minor mistake with a single part of my meal, I was given steak inside my chimichanga, when it was ground beef I was craving. Instead of giving me grief and taking away away the entrée, the people of Tres Amigos informed they will correct this very minor mistake. NOTONLY that, but they preceded to pack up the incorrect entrée order and removed it off the check and the meal was mine to carry-out! I had to correct order out within at most, maybe 5 minutes. VERYQUICK. The food was outstanding, no other words can accurately describe the flavors and quality! The meat was tender, the cheese was authentic! Like the salsa, the greens and tomatoes were fresh. And the rice, you couldn’t ask for better flavor. My friend and I both decided this will be our first choice when it comes to Mexican food for now on! Do not let the hotel and aged building located beside the restaurant fool you, I promise, Tres Amigos is the diamond that is within the coal. Once you’re inside the restaurant, the atmosphere changes, it is CLEAN, with a modern«Mexican» vibe. and HD flat screen TV’s if you care. Amazing fresh food, personable customer service, vibrant interior! Best in town!

I picked up a burrito supreme, it was very good, salsa and chips are very good, prices and portions are great too. They are a little heavy on the cilantro, I don’t mind it, but mention it if you are ordering. Unfortunately you have to walk thru a bit of the scummy hotel lobby before entering.

I guess if you don’t have good Mexican food avaliable to you then this seems top notch. The salsa was OK, seemed like tomato sauce with a few slices of onion, cilantro and green onions. Definitely have never had salsa like that before. The food came out very quickly, granted we were the only ones in at the time so maybe that contributed, but it still seemed extremely fast. As in «throw this on the plate and heat it up.» The food was good, not exceptionally amazing, but when you are traveling it’s a very good alternative to Denny’s. Glad we stopped in, nothing to go crazy about.

This place is definitely a diamond in the rough. It’s an old IHOP so the building is way outdated. But then once you walk into the restaurant it’s a pleasant surprise. The hostess seated us immediately and brought our chips and salsa out. They bring out your salsa in a carafe so you can refill your bowl as needed. The salsa had great flavor. My husband and I both ordered margaritas they were a nice size drink for a great price. My husband had Chile relano and a enchilada, he said the chili relano was the best he had ever had. I had a taco and an enchilada and they were great. Try the shredded beef in your entrée you will not be disappointed. The guacamole was pleasantly unique, but really good. We walked out paying less than $ 30 for 2 entrees and 3 margaritas. We definitely will be coming back!

It may appear to be a little ramshackle in the outside, but inside the atmosphere is really fun, with soccer playing on a big screen, appropriate music for a Mexican restaurant, and a generally happy/fun vibe. The FOOD– I had an admittedly small sample(Fajita Salad, Liter of Sangria), but it was VERY good, and the menu offered all the traditional dishes you might crave. I’ll be back!

The food was good, very happy. The location has bad! You have to go into a ghetto hotel lobby to get into the place and they have no bathroom. Really good food thou!

Service was great was pretty inexpensive. The Chile verde was a bit salty but it was great otherwise. I suggest coming here for the guacamole and margaritas especially!

Mexican Food is sort of like Chinese food. Lots of choices, but just variations of several dishes. One restaurant is pretty much like the other but Sometimes one stands out and you make it your favorite. This one has that possibility, this is Very Good Mexican Food. I really should rate it a 5, but it was my first time there, and I rarely give out that many stars on a first try. The Place is right along 192 in West Melbourne and as other reviewers have noted the area is a bit sketchy. The restaurant is connected to a Motel lobby, and Last time we were in the area a year ago it was an IHOP. The place is very clean and the service was very good. However at 2:30 on a Monday afternoon we were the only customers, which was a shame because this place needs to succeed. Had it not been for the 5 star reviews here we might not have tried it. My wife ordered the Chicken/Beef Fajita(12.95) dinner, I ordered the Deluxe ground beef Burrito lunch($ 7.50). I also had an Iced tea, that was fresh made and not some instant powder crap. The Server brought out a nice basket of Chips and a Carafe of Salsa. The Salsa was a bit runny, but very tasty. A bit on the spicy side for my wife, but just a bit on the mild side for me. It did put a bite on the tongue though, so pretty darn good. Again it was fresh made. The Burrito came out on a large plate with a side of Glock, Sour Cream, Lettuce, Tomato and Refried Beans. The Refried Beans were arguably the best I’ve ever had. I do not know what they did to them, but they were very tasty. As was the Burrito, My wife Fajita was also delicious. It came out on a Sizzling platter and there was a very substantial pile of Chicken, Beef, Onions and Peppers. Way more than she could eat. Indeed 2⁄3 made it home for tomorrows lunch. The Meat and vegetables were cooked with a mix of very savory spices, and very delicious. Not quite like any Fajita we have ever had. We were both very impressed and vowed to return again Soon. After the next trip it will probably go up a star. If not I’ll let you know why.

Driving up, parking is weird and it looks like you’re going to am IHOP/sketchy hotel. I had high hopes for this place seeing as how all the reviews were great. There were maybe 5 people in the restaurant at 8pm. And they all looked like they were friends of the employees. Chips and salsa came out. Salsa was runny and so very garlicy. The food was mediocre at best. I ordered carne asada tacos. Everything was kind of bland and I left extremely under whelmed.

Having tried several of the local Mexican restaurants, this one is the best in my opinion. The prices are reasonable, and the food was very fresh and authentic. We tried the tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, and ‘super’ nachos. Everything was very good. I hope this place sticks around… Tell your friends to give it a try.
