You can always count on WOB. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. They can help narrow down the long list of beer options.

I am a huge fan of world of beer. Anytime I see there’s one around I always stop. The business it self is awesome, and the vibe of this place is amazing. The service is always great! They don’t have food but they have option in food around that either delivers or you can pick up and bring into the bar. The servers know about their beer and if you have questions or don’t know what you would like they will guide you!

After taking a ridiculous amount of time to select a beer(I should have ordered food while narrowing the selection), it turns out they were out of that particular beer. How I managed to select the 1 beer out of 100 that wasn’t available, is probably related to how I never hit a number when playing lotto. Luckily, choice #2 was stocked and very tasty, as was choice #3. The bar staff was fantastic and take beer serious. The bar patrons were cheerful and friendly. The place was clean and enjoyable. I can only describe it as Disney for brew fans.

Good concept. Draft beer selection sucks and so does the service. The servers spend a lot of time chatting with the regulars while folks sit with empty glasses

This is a great spot in The Avenue to explore beers from around the world while your wife shops. Service was great and prices were fair. The staff was friendly and the bar very clean and inviting. When in Viera and thirsty, explore the drink menu with beers from around the world!

Normally I’ve enjoyed this place very much, but recently, I asked for a certain mixed beer and the bartender got it wrong. I mentioned it again, and she got it wrong again. And the third time and still wrong, at this point I am out of patience and just accept it. Then she overcharged me at $ 11 for the single glass. Thank you, but I will not be returning for a long while. Maybe melting pot will have better service.

The world of Beer? Take me to your leader. haha! Lets talk about beer baby! They have so many taps, it should be hard to decipher. The bartender comes over to me with an iPad listing all the beers and bottles in the fridge to make your beer choice pretty simple. I quickly order the«3 Daughters Aged Quad», this beer is aged(?!) in Bourbon barrels. There was a lot going on, very strong. Me likee The restaurant itself is very inviting. There is an outdoor patio where I had a burgers a few years ago. Lets not forget, this is the«WORLD» of Beer. Not the world of mac and cheese bites. I try to come to WOB and drink a cool and unique beer every chance I get. Cheers!

We’ve enjoyed this place for years. We’re loyalty members. But the service absolutely sucks. 3 or 4 years ago, it wasn’t bad. They had some pleasant, fun, knowledgeable bartenders. However, we went last night and had two male bartenders who could not have had less personality. It was as if they were trying to perfect their Hipster cred by refusing to smile or speak to anyone, including us, the paying, tipping customers.

I used to love this place… I’m actually in the 100 beer club. I prefer to drink outside on the patio overlooking the courtyard. However, they have really started to cater towards the smokers at WOB. I complained to the waitress that it stinks like smoke out there even when there aren’t any smokers(every table has a stinky ash tray like it’s 1989 again). She didn’t care and stated that they will never ban smoking out there b/c it brings in too much business. That’s fine with me. If they want to cater to a dying minority of beer drinkers that must mean they are fine losing the rest of us that prefer to enjoy the fresh air with our beer and not stink like smoke stacks when we go home.

Good beer selection and pretty knowledgeable staff for the most part. There is one huge, huge, huge, problem at this– SEATING. It’s horrible. If it’s busy you’ll probably be standing in a huge herd of people with no room to lift your drink. You’d think they would plan this better, World of Beer isn’t a new chain. In short, good beer, the seating sucks.

Really happy I found this bar when vacationing in Florida… IPA Bar I like the idea of paying 8 dollars to try 4 small ounces of differnt beers that are on tap Tasty beer and fun place to hang out. The bartender Rod is very knowlegdeable when it comes to explaining IPA. Dont drink a lot of IPA beer but i think ill start checking some out here in Omaha. Thanks again guys for the great experience.

If you are a beer lover then this is the place to go. You can try or have just about any type of beer here: wheat, lager, stout, ale, cider, etc. I am not a beer lover to the extreme so I was kind of hesitant on what I would find here that I liked. I wanted to try something that was in the comparison to Bud Light or Corona(I know, I know… very cheap beer drinker). Our bar tender was very busy, but when she noticed my blank stare towards the menu she asked if she could recommend something for me. I was very pleased with her selection(Kronnenburg 1776). She was very helpful when I had a few other questions to ask. My personal favorite is the ciders on tap. But like I mentioned earlier… you want something in particular then I am almost positive they will have something to that tasting. The overall appearance of this location is very nice. It is set right in the middle of The Avenues so you can shop, enjoy a great dinner, watch a movie, and then enjoy a night cap beer if you wanted a full night out. The inside is decorated with beer paraphernalia throughout. You can sit at regular tables, booth/side tables, the bar, or outside seating. You have a ton of seating options on a not so packed night. I have only been on Saturday nights so it has always been packed and pretty much standing room only unless you time it lucky and find a seat. I have always been impressed with how clean everything was including the restrooms. The staff definitely takes care of things like they are supposed to. I have heard they also have a great beer club that you can join. I have several friends that are members, but I am not. From what I have heard you are given a list of beer that they offer. If you try to selected beers you receive a mark on your list. Once you complete that level(or list) you advance to the next stage. My friend made it to receive a t-shirt after one of the levels completed. I personally would not be a good candidate for the club since I do not like very many different beers. If you are a beer fanatic then you might want to look into it. I am not sure of the cost to join either, but I thought this would be neat to advise people of.

We stopped in to his WOB location on our little weekend holiday. We arrived shortly after opening on a beautiful day and found that while they weren’t overrun, they weren’t dead either. This day was the morning after a Left Hand Brewery feature night, so we were excited to try some unique brews. The service was excellent and we enjoyed the beer, of course. The location is really nice and spacious, too!

World of Beer is such a great concept, I hope they take over the entire country. You can order draft or bottled beers from a large menu book arranged by country. If you are a local you should probably get their app, it lets you log the beers that you have drank there. I guess the app keeps you informed of what they have, whats new and all that stuff. I think you may get something for drinking so many beers or maybe you just get to feel special, not really sure. Anyhow, the selection is great and our server was really nice and knew a lot about the beers and made some good recommendations. They also have a nice outdoor patio.

Another reviewer called it «Coolest place in Melbourne» — that may be, but it seemed more like the coolest place open in Melbourne after 10PM, which meant that between Steak & Shake and World of Beer, World of Beer comes out on top. Huge selection of beer, most of it seeming to have sat around too long, and no food. Meh is the best I can muster. The service was OK, and it was definitely the best place in mall that was open. PS You have about 1,000 beers from every corner of the world, but completely missed Texas?
