This is a great little liquor store. While I’m not really much of a drinker, they have a good selection of wines, a nice selection of craft beers, a nice tasting room in the back, a selection of party foods and basics.
The prices are probably a little higher than the local chain liquor stores, but it’s a nice store that you may find something that Kappy’s or other chain stores may not have. The store is definitely put together very nicely and street parking righto out front (or in back) is very convenient.

Lucky me that I work so close in Harvard Square. Not only do they have an excellent selection, and I’m thrilled with the wine that was recommended, but the service, as mentioned before, is stellar. I’m sorry, I don’t know the name of the awesome guy with the great beard who seems to manage the place during the day. But, you know your sh_​t! So unbelievably knowledgeable without being a pretentious moron. I will be happy to make this my go to place! Thanks for understanding that service is just as important as the product! Sometimes even more!

The Cellar is great, my friends and I discovered it during one of their free wine and beer tastings and I’ve been going back ever since. The staff is the main reason, they are the friendliest people and will put a smile on your face. The wine and beer selection is good and the tastings are awesome!

The craft beer selection is great; the wine selection is decent; but the service is (save for one employee) top notch.
I’ve lived at Oak Grove and frequented the Cellar since it’s opening and Mr. M’s friendliness is what keeps me coming back. He truly makes the store feel familiar and hometown-​y.
The wine and beer tastings are great fun and offer a wonderful chance to get to sample the different offerings.

Decent selection (full disclosure, I’m an Oak Grove resident) and always friendly service. Better than expected craft beer selection as well. Really a fan of the occasional weekend tastings — great spot!

After a change in management a few months back, the Cellar really stepped their game up. The wine selection is great, the beer is pretty decent as well; they are always changing it up and taking suggestions as to what customers want to purchase. My favorite thing about the shop is that just about once a month they have a free wine tasting with 8 or so wine vendors and at least 3 breweries. From the past tastings they have even been giving a 10% off store purchases. I suggest stopping by, but the tasting is a must!
