Capital Construction

Capital not only was prompt with the estimate which was exactly what I paid. They are fast, neat and very professional. We had tried three different contractors to bid and do the work. capital bid and finished the work in less than a week from bid to finish. The work was done a mass of people in one day! WOW! they are excellent!!!

Great job… again. a fine job-​making repairs caused by a leaking hot water heater. Replacing ceiling and floor, installing carpet and painting walls were all completed to our comfort. In the past, they’ve put on roofing, gutters, windows and finished out a storage room and made it a bedroom. They are quick to respond when emergencies arise.

Very Strange Experience. Not Recommended
This really was a strange experience all around. While the work was fine, everything else ranged from just plain odd to simply unacceptable.
The work is done by, I am pretty sure, illegal immigrants. This is pretty much standard in the Memphis construction field. The two who did our work were good and courteous, even though they arrived 1 ½ hours late.
But, after the rest of my experience with Capital, I am guessing it was a problem with those who set up the order, as opposed to the workers themselves. When I set up the order, it was done over the phone. I was given a specific price. However, when the order was in the process of being done, it was increased by $ 100.
This was followed by the thoroughly odd appearance the next morning by a staffer who wanted immediate payment. When I have worked with a contractor before, I was mailed an invoice. I paid in this case, but certainly made my concerns well known.
No adjustments were made to the price, of course, and I also received no documentation regarding the item installed.
