Precision Door Service

The estimate and installation went off without a hitch. I had my garage door replaced. Didn’t need an operator as I had replaced it 3 – 4 years back which caused the issue. I wanted to smart-​enable my garage door so I could open and close it when I’m away from home or just open it a bit before I’m in view of the house so I’m not waiting for the door to raise when I arrive home. Since my opener was older I had to get an Internet gateway. The door was installed but the internet gateway had to be ordered. It was supposed to be in within a couple or three days. I had paid half the price of everything upfront and didn’t pay the remainder when the door was installed because the total included the smart-​enabling. Well, I called weekly for the next three weeks to get a status but nobody ever called me back. Apparently, I slipped through the cracks. Now, as I said, they had installed a door and I was withholding payment over $ 200 for the smart stuff so I wasn’t out any money by any means. I’m very happy with the price and quality of work. Having said that, I must say I get the most irritated when I can’t get a return call or a status when I call. For that, I have to remove a star but these folks are great and I’m very happy with the new door.

Properly named for their prompt and excellent service. Called late on Friday for a new opener install. They offered early next day service but I opted for a first thing Monday appointment since I was headed out of town for the weekend. They showed up promptly as scheduled and provided a detailed quote and tech sheet before starting the job (also provided a price quote over the phone when I initially called). Install price was very fair compared to doing it myself. Turns out it would have been a nightmare if I did it myself. Determined the «off the shelf» openers at Sears, Home Depot and Lowes do not work with a larger door like I have. They also lubricated the hinges and rollers as a courtesy.
They use high quality products and back their install and products. I would absolutely recommend this company to everyone.

Do not recommend. Quoted a new door when the spring broke @ a nominal fee of $ 1K. Thank goodness we came to our senses and had a couple more companies quote the job. The company chosen took care of it for $ 275!!!

Excellent service! Another company actually didn’t show up for two days. I called Precision based on the information I read on their website. They were not only prompt, they called to ask if they could come early, and both people were so professional and comfortable to have working at my home.
They explained everything thoroughly and gave me a price that was reasonable. As they worked, it was clear they knew what they were doing and were very competent. I highly recommend this company.
