This is the one and only place in Memphis to find a new Yamaha piano. In fact, this is the largest Yamaha dealer in several states. this is not the typical piano store where the instruments are just average. This is the best of the best. I just played a nine foot concert grand! There were only three of them in the store! Imagine three incredible pianos in the same room. That’s not to mention the grands, babies, and uprights. I come here quite often. Its a neat place to hang out. You can meet some really incredible talent if you’re here at the right time. There are used and new, starters and upgrades. The only thing you wouldn’t find here is a junk fixer upper. And that’s just pianos! There is a room full of electronic digital pianos. Another room of player pianos. Another room with organs. Another room with keyboards! And this is only half the store. What does it matter how many rooms there are? You can play till your hearts content without it interfering with anyone else’s day! That’s right, this store is truly hands on. After all, who would you expect to buy something so important, with so many choices to make, without test driving all the equipment? I’ve been to other stores that expect just that. I’ve never been kicked out of circle music for playing to loud or to hard, or asked to stop. They may ask you to stop if you suck, but they haven’t asked me! So circle music has killer pianos, lots of room, and you get to manipulate some sound waves, but what else do they have? A killer guitar shop, of course! Les Paul and Martin dealers! Just like the pianos, don’t expect to see ordinary guitars here that you might find in a pawn shop. This is the place to find special guitars. The unique, the extraordinary, the extreme, and the ultra killer, this is definitely it. There are a few drums, but this is by no means a drum shop. Maybe they just prefer to cater to musicians instead. Ok, that was cold! Also, this is not a PA and lighting store. And don’t expect much recording gear either. It is simply not what they do. Instead, they chose to be the best at what they do, which is piano and guitar. There are school band instruments as well, and available for rent. There are practice rooms as well. There are teachers eager to share their knowledge with any musical instrument you may choose. There are teachers for children and adult, and they are good. There is a library dedicated to sheet music. They even have a librarian! This store happens to be part of the same family as lane music in Germantown. Because of the incredible service I’ve received there, I will remain loyal to their business. Since these two stores share ownership, it’s really not like cheating is it? Well, is it? Chuck is the manager here. Him and Ron just seem like my best friend every time I see them. They know I have a brand new piano and that I plan to keep it a few years, but I never get that vibe that they don’t want me there. I’d say that’s the most important thing that sets them apart. So, pianos, guitars, teachers, friendly managers, sheet music, a killer building, and room to explore. Pretty awesome. Is that it? But wait, there’s more! There is a killer recital room with seating designed for 70 people. Ron told me they have had 80 people though. The best piano in the store is always on the stage, and it does get sold quite frequently. You can book a concert here. This is the place for a recital or concert. And if you or your kids are taking lessons here, you or they will get to experience performing for an audience. It is an essential part of becoming a musician. Chuck, Ron, and Scott, thank you so much!

I flew from Chicago to audition a couple grand pianos that were at Circle Music, and I wasn’t disappointed. Chuck the manager picked me up at my hotel and personally escorted me around all day, and we had a great time. I ended up buying one of the pianos, and Chuck had his guys deliver it to Chicago and they were excellent as well. All in all I couldn’t be happier with the service, price and product. Highly recommend this music store — you’re lucky to have them Memphis!
