Memphis Music is now Circle Music Center @ 5124 Poplar Ave (about 2 blocks East of their old location). Outstanding staff is friendly and knowledgeable with a can do attitude. They offer lessons, parts, service, rentals and sales. If they don’t have what you want, they will get it or help you locate it. A great place to browse, try and find the instrument you will love! I have been a customer for 12 years and I keep coming back because of the selection and the people.

These guys have saved my musical bacon a couple of times just by being open and being conveniently located. I’ve not spent a ton of money on musical instruments lately (something to which my musician friends can attest), but I love these guys for the basics (strings, miscellaneous guitar parts, drumsticks) that I always seem to run out of in the days preceding a gig. The staff have been uniformly friendly and helpful, too.

I was very impressed by the large selection of acoustic and electric guitars, mainly Fender, in a variety of wood finishes and colors. They lined the walls, as well as large amount of reduced-​priced amplifiers. A separate room housed a variety of synthesizers and electric pianos, powered on to try out. All top-​quality. A good selection of drum sticks, and a pretty decent selection of sheet music, mainly for piano. Another section of the store housed a ton of Yamaha upright and grand pianos, mostly new and a few used. Also in excellent condition.
