A little neighborhood grocery store, this place has had lots of reincarnations. I still call it Robilio’s. It’s convenient to my house and I never have to park far away or wait in line long. The produce department isn’t that great, but they have in-house butcher and wonderful, fresh meat. Don’t expect anything exotic, although they did have shallots the other day. The recent change of ownership might change selections. I go there for basics and sometimes I find great deals(99 cent chicken breasts for example) but usually I’m in the grab and go mode. Their chicken salad has been a constant for the 20+ years I’ve been going there. Wonderful. There seem to be fewer off/generic brands with the new ownership, but it still caters to an older crowd, so don’t expect sushi or organic or other trendy things. All in all, if you need to get in and out for basics, it’s a great place. And it’s nice to support a local business. With NO self-checkout!
