Absolutely worst service and un organized restraint I have ever been to. Unless it’s a must go elsewhere

It’s a Denny’s so my expectations weren’t too high anyways, but I don’t think I’ve ever been so disappointed. I walked in and was stared at by the ghetto hostesses who seemed shocked that a customer was standing in front of them. I initiated a conversation with them and was eventually seated at a dirty table, which the hostess tried to clean with a dirty rag that smelled like stagnant pond water. The table was left with large chunks of what looked like a slobbered on chocolate chip cookie. After 15 minutes of sitting there with no server coming up, I went to go find one. I was told that they are busy and will get to me when they can. A cook was standing at the hostess stand with 2 waitresses cackling while several people around me were still waiting on their drinks. 10 minutes after that I walked out. Like I said, my expectations weren’t that high going in anyways, but they didn’t even come close to meeting what little expectations I had.

It’s on a very busy corner in the middle of downtown. I walked in to place a to-go order for the $ 6.00 burger advertised on the window. Red Flag #1: I walk up to the door. It’s a very narrow and fairly closed in walkway. 2 waitresses are sitting on the ground, talking and smoking. Red Flag #2 I was the only customer that walked in. I had been standing there a few minutes waiting for the hostess to finish up a sale on the computer. Another table had finished their meal and walked up to pay a few minutes later. She wasn’t sure who to help first. Red Flag #3 — After placing my order, I see another customer come up to the register to ask for her check. Her waitress was one of the ladies who was outside smoking. I am not sure if she washed her hands. Red Flag #4 — When I got my food, i reminded the hostess I hadn’t gotten my drink. When she went back to get it, I checked my box of food to find that she had given me someone’s(I.e a staff members) left over chicken strip meal. Eventually, I got my order but not before I was grosses out by the mishap. Moral of the story: If their franchise owner or corporate team saw how empty the resturant was during lunch time AND had my experience, they would be highly upset
