THE WORST MOVING COMPANY I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! Customer service was awfull! They damaged our home during through stuff out our third floor window because they were to lazy to use the stairs! I had to continuously follow them from room to room because they would leave stuff unpacked it took them 3 days!!! To do a 12 hour job! They dropped our motorcycle after loading it in the moving truck in front of us then asked us to do inspection on it!!! REALLY!!! We purchased a treadmill prior to the move paid $ 2,000 for it when we got to destination we were told there was water damage from EWING storage and was no longer working! They also dropped our wall mounted fireplace and damaged the floor and stair banister they replaced the few hardwood planks but as soon as they found out how much the banister was to replace they refused to pay and said the drivers… really the drivers… said we never had a fireplace — the fireplace was listed on the damn inventory sheet that THEIR people wrote up and they didn’t even crate it they just put it in their truck as is and drop it right in front of us!!! Seriously!!! The movers even hired one of their friends to help them unpack they were NOT apart of EWING Movers! I can go on and on about the damages, unprofessionalism, horrible customer service, tact, and they take forever to respond!!! Oh wait! Let me tell you that the damages that EWING caused in our Origin home they hired someone off craigslist to repair the walls… the people they hired they brought their 3 kids to my home with them at 9:00 at night!!! Oh it’s gets worse they didn’t have any money to get the paint they needed in order to fix my walls!!! YUP!!! BULLSHIT company and TRUST I will be telling everyone I know about this company because I DO NOT WANT ABYOND GO EXPERIENCE WHAT I DID!!! I’m not one to write reviews but this company doesn’t even deserve a single star!!! AWFUL AND LAZY!!!

Oh the story is long, tedious, tiresome… Oh the original corporate hired movers out of Virginia was a NIGHTMARE!!!
So much so that we hired our own movers to TAKE BACK our stuff from the company our employers hired! Are you understanding me? Our employer was paying for our move with a national coordinating company «specializing» in corporate moves — mind you I never heard of that company — and GOD FORBID — I ever have to deal with then again!!!
Anyway ANYWAY — even though we lived in Chicago and we moved to DC, a friend recommended we reach out to this company in Memphis — Crazy. From the get go — Ewing Staff were professional, responsive, good LISTENERS, clear communicators and AND are you ready the best price! No negotiating, no craziness, all REAL DEAL!
And did I mention SERVICE oriented? These folks reached out to the other company SO I DID NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH the DEVIL.
Did I mention BEST PRICE???
And guess what — movers dropped off my stuff, were professional, clear, boom: same price!!! No Games ALL PROFESSIONAL.
I can’t wait for them to coordinate my parent’s move cross country!
