This was one of my introductions to Memphis life shortly after I moved here. They ruined a suit of mine. When I picked it up, the shape of the lapel and the front piece of the jacket had been changed, and the back of the collar now rode up ½″ showing an obvious strip of the collar lining. The manager first tried to blame me and told me this was a cheap suiit. (t wasn’t – they clearly know nothing about clothes.) Then when I complained, the manager admitted that the same thing happened at their store all the time when they dry cleaned mens suits. This seems to be the standard of quality in many businesses in the city: we do extremely poor work, but we just pretend it’s normal. If you don’t pretend with us, that just proves that you’re unreasonable

Why is it so hard to find a decent dry cleaner in Memphis?
Sparing y’all the details of my past dry cleaning adventures let’s just say I was in the market for a new cleaner. I dropped off 1 ladies sleeveless blouse and it was $ 15 when I picked it up. Aside from this being a bit steep for a blouse — it was still dirty with absolutely no improvement in the salad dressing stain that caused me to bring it in.
Pleasant staff, but I would avoid given the high price tag and incomplete cleaning job.
