Lenny’s Sub Shop

Thanks for charging me for bacon but not giving me any!

I have enjoyed eating at this Lenny’s for many years. The food is fantastic. The amount of meat on these sandwiches is super — and the taste is superb! I’ve enjoyed the Sub Club and the Italian many times.
I’ve gotten to meet different folks who work there through the years, even made some friends. They seem to have good, decent folks to go with the the good, decent food. If you haven’t been, treat yourself to some good eats.

Lenny’s is great! What you first notice, is when you walk in the door you’re greeted. The restaurant was very clean the dining area appeared spotless. Although the line was long, the order taking went very fast. And payment also is fast. The order from start to finish took approximately 3 minutes maybe 2, and that includes waiting in line. The food tastes fantastic fresh and hot. Not knowing that they need cook their food fresh right there and you can actually see and hear the grill person working the grill. This is probably the best Lenny’s visited yet.

What a pleasant surprise! My husband and I were visiting Memphis, and decided to get some subs at Lenny’s for lunch. This Lenny’s made us the best subs we have ever had! Tons of meat, cheese, and great service! One of the employees opened the door and greeted us upon arrival, and everyone was so friendly.
I’ve always liked Lenny’s, but this one is head and shoulders above our ones back home. Wow, I just wish I could’ve taken a picture of my buffalo chicken philly before I ate it all. It had to have weighed 1.5 lbs!

My family had dinner here and it was great! I really liked that my meat was so fresh and bread was nice and soft. We found our new sub shop yall!

Ok I would give this location five stars if they actually lived up to their motto of more food, more taste, more personality. They got the more food and taste parts down right. They could go a lot farther with the personality part. Today was my first visit to this location and will be my last. It’s nice they have new menu items not yet available at some other locations I frequent, and and nice new crew uniforms that go well with the new paint scheme as well as the new bags and napkins, but this is no reason to act snobbish. You’re open to the public, in one of the most customer oriented businesses, but the personality level of some of the employees are dry and almost robotic. I was not greeted until I walked to the counter to order. I wasn’t thanked for my visit. I didn’t see any of the crew with any attempt at a smile. I found this all shocking especially since I know Lenny’s standards and my experience today seemed quite contrary to those standards. I got no crew interaction at all other than to ask how to dress my sandwich and to pay for my order. Everything was rushed, yet there were few customers inside, and none in line. I wish they could take an example from some of their other locations such as store 74 located at Poplar/​Mt. Moriah or store 49 located at Madison and Cooper.

Okay so my guy and I arrived about a half an hour before closing. You can tell they were closing by how they were turning up all the chairs. We get in line only 2 people ahead of us so not busy at all. I order the club with a few toppings, he orders the chicken salad with all but 3 toppings. We pay, head home, prep for bed and decide to eat while catching a show. All of a sudden he gets angry stating, «Babe taste this. Look at it first then taste.» I said no just tell me what’s wrong. He opened it and there was no chicken salad on his sandwich. It was all his toppings and a smidge of chicken salad towards the end of the bread. You’re talking WTF!?! He was so upset he looked at me and said I will never attend that location again. So I tried my sandwich since I had a basic club, it was undeniably bland as a blank canvas. I’d never been big on Lenny’s but tried because he insisted. At least I know for sure I won’t be returning. Literally a smidge of chicken salad on a chicken salad 15inch sub. LOL, classic.

I love Lenny’s, they’re my go-​to sandwich shop. The only bad thing I can say is that it’s a little pricey, but it’s good enough that I am willing to pay it. I eat cold sandwiches and my husband eats hot, and he loves them just as much as I do.

Apparently this a chain although I had never been to one before. I was really impressed with the service, selection and quality. I ended up going with the chicken philly sub. It was packed with chicken, cheese and veggies. The regular size was extremely filling and was plenty for me. The prices were also very reasonable so I would definitely go here again.

This is the location of the very first Lenny’s Sub Shop when it was founded in 1998. The customer service is spectacular and the subs are great.

This Lenny’s has some outgoing employees who do their best to get your food to you quickly and correctly. Lenny’s subs are amazing: lots of meat on everything. They do not skimp! Their hot pepper relish is a nice touch on many subs, but you have to request it. It’s got a salty, peppery flavor that adds a certain zing. Weeknights for dinner I have not found the lines to be long, and even when they are they move quickly. Friday lunchtime was very busy, but still quick. Weekends it all depends on what time of day you go. The Italian, the club, and the turkey are all favorites, and if you become addicted they’ll sell you their sliced meats in bulk as well!
