We went on a week day about 4:15 so we has the place mostly to ourselves. The atmosphere was okay, but not as «hip» and«trendy» as it once was. The food was okay, but nothing to write home about. I would just as soon have Chinese take out as come here.

Food is still good but service is really lacking. I have had several bad service experiences this year.

Chain restaurant which is fine. Kinda spendy especially for Chinese food. It’s decent enough don’t get me wrong but $ 16 for sweet and sour chicken? That’s a bit ridiculous and for this place that’s on the low end. Oh and an extra $ 2 for brown versus white rice really? One big restaurant sin, ordered food and appetizer at same time. Food came out literally 2 min after appetizer. Just not that impressed especially for the money.

I have been to this place twice. First time I had a good experience. The food was good and staff was friendly. It helped me chose this restaurant again second time. Food was again great, they customized it to our taste. Their side dish«Sichuan-style Asparagus» is just awesome and I’m going to order it again and again. Our main course dishes were Stir-fried Eggplant and Ma Po Tofu, and both the dishes were tasty. Last but not least their Flourless Chocolate Dome was a delight and I recommend it to everyone; try it once.

Had the WORST experience here today. Came in during a not terribly busy time but right behind several large parties. We were told the wait would be about 20 minutes so we sat directly behind the hostess station at the bar & ordered a couple of drinks. About 10 minutes later we started noticing that everybody coming in was getting directly seated without a wait. My date asked about getting our table & the hostess said it would be another 10 or 15 minutes. Another several minutes went by so this time I asked the hostess if our table was ready & she asked my name. I gave it to her & the response was«we already called you.» I explained to her that we were sitting 4 feet behind her and didn’t hear. She apologized & then somebody else seated us. RIGHTBYTHEENTRANCETOTHEKITCHEN&BATHROOM! We asked for a different table & they got real attitude. Another host said«I called you myself so I know we called your name.» Not sure what that had to do with getting a different table. Regardless. We left & went to Amerigos where they actually came to the bar area to call names from the wait list. Somebody should go train at Amerigos.

I would give them 5 stars if I went with full intention of really enjoying myself. A friend & I stumbled in thinking it was along the lines of a casual chinese place. Immediately going in, SUPERFANCY. GREAT interior design, there were nice lit candles on all tables. Fantastic color scheme & atmosphere. Really modern, which I love. The staff were also very attentive & charming. For my food of choice, I had the Kaleidoscope sushi roll. I can’t remember all the ingredients. The ones I can: Ahi, Salmon, Avocado, Cucumber, Mango, & a Dijon mustard glaze. I never had fruit paired with sushi… PHENOMENAL! So I definitely suggest PF Chang’s to anyone.

The service was not so great, server was really slow about getting our drinks and getting our food out. The food was pretty good. I had Vegetable Fried Rice and the butternut squash dumplings(YUMM). My wife had a spicy chicken and rice(don’t remember the name of it). We also shared the apple cobbler after dinner.

Restaurant was nice and clean. The service was great. The food was good. As a frequent traveler, PF Changs is almost always a safe bet to grab a dinner. This location did not disappoint. I will be returning again.

My grandmother and I had a wonderful meal at PF Chang’s today. I had a tuna roll and lobster tacos. She had the cashew chicken and rice. Both of our meals were very tasty! This is a wonderful place for a lunch date!

A few years ago I had one of the most bizarre experiences here and it probably has kept me a little unfairly turned against this place. With that said, by default I’ve eaten here or had leftovers brought to me several times lately and I just don’t get eating here when there are some really good Chinese places in town. Both«authentic» and«Americanized». My guess is the«manager» that had the balls to ask me if I’d ever had shrimp in lobster sauce before is probably not in the service industry anymore. When a customer returns a dish because it sucks butt hole I don’t think«have you had this dish other places before?» should be the question. I was in total shock and just sort of stared at him but if I had it over to do I would handle it quite a bit different. «Yes sir I have but thank you for bringing to my attention that I’m an idiot for not knowing that this dish is supposed to taste like dirt and poo! I’ve had it all wrong all this time and anytime I’m looking for a superior plate of butt fungus in the future I know just where to go!» To be fair the dish wasn’t that bad but it had little black«beans?» in it that were bad/sour and ruined the dish. It probably could be ok on another day. The Chinese eggplant with ground beef could be ok but every time I’ve tried it, it was beyond a salt lick. Egg drop is gross, egg rolls are gross, chicken lettuce wraps are sub par, beef dishes really lack flavor, etc. It is cool that they attempt some less«Americanized» dishes and if you like them here, try a good place like New Asia is Germantown. I circle back to why eat here when there are so many better places.

Just what you would expect. I like PFs but they seem to be getting skimpy with their Sushi rolls. The spicy tuna rolls were a disappointment. The bar tender was quite good and the Korean BBQ Chicken dish was nice and spicy. All in all not bad but pretty ordinary. I have had better at PFs. Despite this the atmosphere and accommodations were great. See you all soon on my next trip.

Overpriced, underwhelming Asian cuisine. The service was not half bad, if a bit slow. This review is mostly about the food. I ordered beef with broccoli, with a side of the Sichuan asparagus. The entrée was coated in a thick, viscous sauce that resembled teriyaki, but with the salty, one-note flavor profile worse than something Lean Cuisine would offer. The meat was chewy and rubbery, and tasteless on its own. The broccoli was undercooked and also tasteless. Everything was overpowered by the sauce. The asparagus were thin, woody stalks coated in another thick brown slime, this one with slightly more kick to it, but still overwhelmingly salty. I thought mixing the asparagus into the main dish would help, but I was sadly mistaken. It was just one big sticky, salty, chewy mess. Certainly not worth the price tag, considering you can get better quality food at a third of the price in an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet. Overall, there’s a polished shine on this turd of a restaurant chain, but it doesn’t hold up. They offer Hot Pocket-quality food for country club prices, and I found myself almost immediately regretting my choice to come here within two bites. I won’t be back, and I would urge other guests to look elsewhere for their dining options.

Good consistent food. I eat here a lot when traveling because you always know you’ll get a good meal. The Hours of Happy is an interesting menu with drink and snacks ranging from $ 3 – 7 for 3:00 — 7:00 pm. Good way to try some new eats! I ordered the kale and quinoa dip not knowing what to expect… It arrived with a handful of crushed pita chips. Thankfully the runner saw it and made the decision to get me a new plate of chips. Ultimately I won’t order the dip again… It was cold and the seasoning on the chips overpowered it all. The orange peel shrimp was delish, but again, it always is!

Consistent PF as one would expect. I find the menus to include a few new items, one of which was the lobster roll. The roll was loose and overly sauced. The mouthfeel was«synthetic mayo meets mustard». The fish was paper thin… all said I wasn’t impressed but PF isn’t a sushi place so they get a A for effort but F for the cost. The Ahi salad was great however! They work well when they stay in their wheel house.

This is a solid chain. They have a ton of menu items including those with alternatives for dietary restrictions. The food is as expected. All in all, it’s a nice spot with good happy hour options and a decent patio. That’s good enough for me at the end of my eight hours!

P F Chang’s was my favorite place to eat in high school… which was very long time ago. I think I’ve ignored this trusty chain considering all the new amazing and exciting restaurants which keep popping up in Memphis. BUT, I ate here with a group of friends tonight and was reminded about how good the food is! The interior is nice, though hasn’t really changed in the past 10 years. Menu has changed though, lots of great healthy options as well as gluten free entrees. I did miss that fact that they stopped mixing the dipping sauces at the table. Can’t really go wrong with what you order here though the lettuce wraps(chicken or tofu) are a must! Service is great. One of our dishes was incredibly salty and our waitress took it back and off the ticket without any questions. Come here if you have a craving for American-Chinese, you won’t be disappointed!

I have had great experiences at PF Chang’s. The atmosphere is nice, cozy, and inviting. The food is good, but like most others have posted, is a bit on the pricey side for this style of food. Service was very good and I left the restaurant not feeling hungry so don’t think you are not getting your moneys worth. This is not a weekly place I would indulge in but I will be coming back.

I recently tried their meal for two or dinner for two combo. It is for $ 40+tax. THISCOMBOCANEASILYSERVETHREEPEOPLE. So, this is a big price saver. It includes 2 soups, 1 appetizer, 2 entrees and 1 dessert. You can choose only few selected items from the menu for entrees. But it still covers close to half of the options. The overall quantity is good enough for three people. It comes to around $ 15 per head including taxes(if you are a group of three). Try out this dinner combo if you visit P F Chang’s frequently.

Hey ladies!!! Meat market at the bar! No seriously, I’ve never seen so many guys consistently at one place before. All in business suits looking distinguished and most importantly… by their lonesome. Anyways, it is P F Chang’s and it can be yummy, definitely one of my favorite chain restaurants. I think it is a teensy bit overpriced but consistently good. I like consistent. And while every P F Chang’s across the country looks the same, there is something comforting about that fact. You know exactly what you’re going to get.

I don’t get all the complaining about its inauthentic Chinese food. What the average American thinks of as Chinese food is probably not what people in China actually eat, but dishes invented here. Besides, most chain restaurants offering anything that isn’t straightforward American food won’t be authentic. Anyway. I like it here. I like it for what it is: a restaurant. It’s a little overpriced(depending on what you order here, you can get it for a bit cheaper if you go to Pei Wei — same ownership, same recipes) but there’s added ambiance here. I’m so glad they added booths along the windows. It got very annoying that there were only four or five huge booths in the back, so unless you were lucky enough to snag one before the dinner rush, you had to sit in an uncomfortable chair. Aside from one bad experience here(which says a lot as I have been coming to this location since they opened), the service is always great. The servers are always friendly, really great about checking on you just often enough and finding that great middle ground between hovering and ignoring you. I don’t think I’ve ever had an instance where I’ve sat there after a meal thinking, «God, will they EVER bring the ticket?» They are pretty good about introducing new items into their menu, and the new stuff seems like it’s pretty authentic. I can’t think of anything that’s been taken off, I’ve been lucky that what I like hasn’t been removed so either I haven’t noticed or they’ve only been adding things. Oh, and the desserts. They have those little shot glass desserts which are heaven. The little Great Wall of Chocolate… irguehgrgiommrge. The full scale version is worthy of being a last meal ever kind of thing, so the shot glass size is a less guilty but probably still way too indulgent(so I hardly ever order it). I’ve never even tried any of the other ones. I’ve heard other ones are good, but I don’t even remember which ones. They have like eight varieties though, so unless you hate sweets, they’ll have something you like. One downside is yes, the noise. When it gets crowded, the acoustics are its downfall. The sound kind of builds in the middle of the ceiling and just… gets amplified. I kinda like things quiet so I can end up sitting there thinking, «Why would you scream louder to be heard over everyone else?» or «Why do I feel like I’m back at a high school cafeteria?» So I just try to go during off-peak times where I can hear my fork scrape against my plate and be satisfied that I’m annoying everyone… kidding.

I always tend to think of the place as overpriced then I’m surprised when the bill comes — in a pleasant surprise way. Yes it’s Americanized — that’s A-Ok to this super American girl. Things I like: The ambience The patio The mixing of the dipping sauces The service The food Things I don’t like: The open dinning room can get a little loud at times. This is a very popular date place, I’ve been on many a first date here over the years. It’s nice enough to not look cheap but not to fancy to set too high of expectations should the relationship progress. Plus they have the curved booths. But it’s not datey, mostly I’ve been with friends or family. Food wise I’m a fan of the crab ran goons, lettuce wraps, sweet and sour chicken, the lo mein and fried rice. Of course I usually get 3 to split with my dining companion and there’s enough to have another meal or two — all for an under $ 40 tab. Yes please!

I’m going to be fair. I’m going to review a «fake» Chinese/Pan-Asian restaurant. First thing, price… TOODARNEXPENSIVE… If not for the 10% cash back from my credit card company that P.F. Chang’s have all the time, I don’t think I’ll come here. In P.F. Chang’s defense, there actually are some authentic dishes here. Believe it or not, there is actually a P.F. Chang’s in the Philippines, attracting mostly tourists and the rich, mostly as a bar. If you do a picture side by side comparison of dishes like Kung Pao Shrimp and Fried Rice of the PF Chang’s Philippines vs any PF Chang’s in America, clearly they are different. Majority of the dishes served at this Memphis branch would never sell in an authentic market especially not at the price they are asking for. Let’s get on with the reviews on the authentic dishes. Shrimp with lobster sauce and everything on the«sides» menu, and the soups… That’s it. And, also to be fair, that’s more authentic dishes than many other Chinese restaurants in town. Let’s start with the side dishes: spicy green beans, spinach with garlic, sichuan asparagus, and shanghai cucumbers. They are actually«cheap» in comparison to the rest of the menu and vegetarian. They are quite a bit on the greasy side though, too sweet, and rather small servings. The soups are actually quite good. I don’t really need to talk about egg drop, hot & sour, and wonton, right? The chicken noodle soup is kind of on the sweet side, but as I understand it, it’s very Malaysian. That said, I get my soups on at Mosa. The shrimp with lobster sauce I’m definitely a fan of. The sauce is black beans with eggs. I may be able to justify the $ 15 price for this due to the quality of the ingredients. I would say that I do also enjoy beef with broccoli and moo goo gai pan. Almost everything else on the menu I dislike, and I’ve tried their fried rice and all of their other sauces kung pao, hunan, orange peel, spicy, ginger, dali, etc. Mostly everything is just too sweet. When Wang’s is right behind P.F. Chang’s, I really don’t know why anyone would come here without a coupon or discount of some kind. BTW, I do like the mixed drinks with Asian flair here.
