I usually have the best words for this place. The employee in charge today, Tori, was the most condescending person. She talked down to the guests as if they meant nothing. I shouldn’t have to hear an employee cursing whether it is towards me or not. I was seriously disgusted by her behavior. I spend over $ 100 a month on my tanning package and am withdrawing my membership today.

Would not go back. I love all other palm beach tans. This one I was pushed aside and others were taken care of before me :(I understand that it may have been a bad employee so i am giving it a 3 star. Still not my favorite tanning place but I hope they get better people in there.

We’re headed to the beach in a few days — I need to get my skin exposed to a few UV rays so I don’t fry like the pale white girl that I am when I’m actually in the sun. I’m not into fake baking my skin long-term, so I searched the web for a short term and inexpensive solution. Palm Beach Tan has a coupon on their website for 4 free sessions — sold! 4 visits should be enough to get me started, right? I printed the coupon, and headed in to PBT. Once I presented my coupon, the girl immediately tried to sell me a monthly membership. I declined, and told her I just wanted to try the place out and see what I thought — that’s the purpose of the coupon, isn’t it? She seemed annoyed, sighed loudly, and put my name in the computer so I could use my coupon. Without explaining anything to me about their bed options, she asked what I wanted to do. She was clearly annoyed that I wasn’t signing up — and she just wanted me out of there(and they weren’t even busy!). I had to ask what my options were, and she was still very unhelpful. Finally, after asking several questions, I make a decision and head back(only after she tries to sell me overpriced lotion). I can say this — the rooms and beds are really clean and comfortable. If I were a long term fake-baker, I’d probably consider a membership at this place. I get it — you put coupons and incentives on your website so you can get new business. However, when new people come in, you can’t make them feel like crap when they don’t bite right away.
