Rodeway Inn

No thank you. Found this place on trip advisor and gave it a go due to the low cost and pet friendly policy. While they haven’t commented on my cats yet, or charged me a fee (I think there normally is), I still wouldn’t return. The lobby smelled like marijuana upon arrival. The parking lot is nice, but the pool had a giant layer of green slime — pretty sure it hasn’t been used in at least a few months. Receptionists were fairly nice, but not really helpful.
The shower in my room was broken, so wasn’t able to hang up and function as an actual shower. They offered to move me, but I had already unloaded the cats.
The room was pretty dingy, but I will say the bed was quite comfortable.
Breakfast in the AM was microbes egg and meat patties :/​, bagels, cereal, and warm yogurt. They did provide more when prompted.
Overall funky smell to the place (not including the pot), and it did for the night.
Oh, and while they have wifi, it’s as slow as dial-​up. Not helpful in trying to map out the rest of a trip or upload photos.
If you’re looking for somewhere super cheap, this would be your place. I plan on paying a little more tomorrow for a functional shower and better smells.
