I go to Sears for their customer service. I needed a tiny part for a vacuum and my only online options seemed ridiculous, so I thought I would go in and see what the always super helpful Parts people would suggest. After a very very nice lady helped me FIND the Parts Direct area hidden back in the Optical Department, I spoke with Perry at the Parts Desk. Waste of time — even though I had my model number ready and explained I couldn’t believe that ordering a huge complicated mechanism for one tiny part was necessary, his sole response was, «Yeah. Next please.» No, «Bummer, but I don’t have any other options to offer you.» No, «You know, there’s a guy that probably has that at *such & such* store.» Then, Perry proceeds to greet the people behind me as long lost buddies and has a pleasant conversation with them. So he IS capable of being nice. *sigh* Won’t be back to this location for help again. Guess I will stick to Amazon while in Memphis.
