Heard great things and would love to try this place but — menu is broken, brunch page is broken, etc. Fix your crappy mobile site or I’m not going to be able to convince my group to go.

This place was like the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow! The BLT sandwich was delish and my cup of Flagstaff coffee had a nice bold flavor. I’ll be back to this hidden treasure.

It’s a nice lunch spot. I came here with friends and was not disappointed. Everything we ordered was delicious. I highly recommend the silver service; it’s a British style tea with milk and honey that has a bouquet of aromas. It reminds me of a British spring garden. By itself, it makes for a memorable hot drink, but in my case, it paired well with the delicious strawberry and cream waffle.

I love the Crescent drink but beyond that I have been disappointed in mainly the service and partially the food. The first visit I only ordered coffee and the barista was knowledgeable and engaging, which lured me back. The second visit I drove over before work just for biscuits to learn their biscuit maker wasn’t in and they were serving frozen ready bakes and had no clue how long it would take to cook the biscuits. Needless to say that the biscuit was disappointing and the cashier seemed my questions were wasting his time This last time the experience was just okay but they all seemed like they did not like working there and when you ask questions it seems to be a bother except for the Black guy. And they were extremely slow. My food came before my coffee. They also cook just about everything in a high powered convection oven. They lay biscuits, pans, ham, sausage all on the same platform without even wiping it off – kind of gross. I may continue to stop in to get the Crescent but my food and eat-in times are over.

Because sometimes a girl needs to escape the suburban Starbucks near her parents’ abode! Home for the holidays, I dragged a friend to Tamp and Tap Triad in East Memphis. Although we had a little trouble finding the place, tucked away on the ground floor of an office building on the other side of the Regalia Center, we agreed our lunch and lattes were worth the drive. And while the selection of salads and sandwiches wasn’t huge, I devoured the $ 10 Packard BLT – candied bacon, mixed greens, sliced tomatoes, and fontina and cheddar cheese with garlic aioli on brioche bread – without coming up for air. After we finished our meal, we stayed for a few hours, taking advantage of the free WiFi to do some planning for an upcoming trip. Although the atmosphere was on the quiet side, at least on a weekday afternoon, the space was spacious enough that we didn’t feel awkward having a low conversation. If I lived in the area, I bet I’d come to Tamp and Tap Triad often to study, write or work after hours!

Friendly staff, some interesting menu choices and very modern décor. Be aware waffles are 10 but are very good. Brunch hours on Sunday’s are till 2pm. Excellent tea choices too.

Admittedly I have been in once, but it was impressive. I ordered a Tennessean as a treat, which may have been a mistake because now I am craving it all the time. It was the perfect amount of strong and sweet(white chocolate and caramel) and on one of the cooler days so far of the year, it really warmed me up. The staff was friendly and efficient.

Good food and coffee. A little pricey, but the video games make up for it. My friends and I got some coffee and just played Kirby for an hour. Great day.

LOVE this place! Great atmosphere! Great service! The coffee is really good and the service is amazing. The people working always have a smile and are friendly. They did a wonderful job laying this place out. There is plenty of room for you to have a business meeting or just getting some work done while watching TV. Great place to hang out with friends as well. I do wish they had wine however but maybe someday.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Had a frozen Delta Eagle and The Crescent. Both delicious and full of flavor. This is a great place to, as the motto states, «grind or unwind.» Good areas to get some work done comfortably or places to chat and catch up with a couple of friends over coffee or craft beer.

Actually 3.5 stars. Beautiful place and nice employees. Latte was done well and milk texture was good. Total value is questionable because prices are a bit high. I perceive it’s a function of rent and the limitations to how many customers they can achieve with the parking as it is. I’d also request a slightly broader menu. It surprised me to see only one sandwich with turkey. It’s good to have at least one but your in for $ 10+. Again back to the value.

This place is beautiful. the coffee and sandwiches are delicious. The only thing negative about this place is that they have limited parking and this place is in a odd location. The GPS dropped me off in the middle of the street.

This place was extremely hard to find, the food was good but the service and set up was very lacking. They had 1 tv on, however it was covered by a big drape the surrounded a large table. Making it only viewable at very odd angles.

Loved the corn chowder! This is a hidden gem in the office complex at Shady Grove and Poplar. WONDERFUL sandwiches!

I ended up wandering in here when the Starbucks across the street was full… and I’m glad I did. The space is well lit, the table count ample and the staff friendly. The coffee and food was tasty and priced in line with competitors. If you’re looking for a dark cave of a coffee shop, this isn’t it; frankly, those are easy enough to find, so do yourself a favor and try something different. It takes a little while to find it in the nondescript mid rise office complex within which it resides, but it’s worth your effort :-)

I thought this might be busy since it is new, but I was happily surprised my friend and I were alone for Wednesday lunch although several others came in for take out. I tried the hummus and enjoyed the mix of cucumber slices, toasted pita and crackers that came with it. My friend got a sandwich that looked nice and came with chips or a small salad. The sandwich bread was maybe too big, though. I had a little trouble finding it, but I think it will be found by many especially when they add the tap beer.

I Was so excited for them to open here! I work in the office building across the street. Someone in my office made a suggestion that they add Grab N Go sandwiches to their menu… and we saw today that they did! It is great that they seem to be listening to suggestions. This is s very different customer than they have downtown. Their menu is small and the price range for lunch is $ 10-$ 15 with a drink. They have some awesome desserts, too. They said that would be adding some local brews which might bring some others over to try. We think a happy hour on Wednesday would be a great addition with some appetizers. We really want them to make it! Give them a try soon.

I am finally able to try Tamp and Tap because they have this location. So convenient! I love the patio and so does my two year old. The main dining area is super cool though. Lots of comfy seating and also seating appropriate for meetings. Ok the coffee is TODIE for! I am not a coffee connoisseur, but I’d like to think I enjoy a quality cuppa joe as much as they do. The lady at the counter was helpful and knew what she was selling for sure. The Tennessean is now my favorite coffee drink ever!!! Strong and sweet! I think I’m going to be wired all day :) The Stanley sandwich was pretty good for an average lunch sammie. The standouts were the thick brioche bread and the candied bacon. Love the side salad instead of chips. Can’t wait to come back for breakfast and also once they have their liquor license.

i LOVE this new addition to east/memphis! It’s kind of hidden behind the the huge silver bank of america building on poplar. Space — the biggest difference and the detail i love most about this t&t is the space. It’s gorgeous and beautiful inside, the lighting is wonderful and they have a little section with white window curtains in the middle of the room that make you feel like you’re in an excluded ethereal little space to study with you and your friends. They have a little patio for you to sit outside if you want to which is underneath a little canopy/ceiling thing so you dont get TOO much sun. I love this location! Its perfect, quieter, and way more spacious than the other location. I know i’m kicking myself writing on Unilocal about how awesome this place is because now everyone is going to flock to it, but they deserve the recognition for this new place, and i want to spread the word out! Study wise — the tables are WAY bigger than the downtown location! This is perfect for people like me who like to spread out my big honking macbook pro and a binder filled with notes around the table. The music isnt too loud and since this is more of a business center, there aren’t as many people that frequent the place. Food and drink — I think the menu is pretty similar if not the exact same as the other location. I only ever order the green tea latte and the delta eagle anyway downtown, which this one has as well! Parking — parking is a bit of a hassle(you have to park in a parking lot next to it) but definitely not as big of a hassle as the tamp and tap downtown! Highly recommended if you’re a café studier or a coffee shop goer, or out in east memphis and looking for a little pick me up, this is the perfect place for everybody!
