Wingstop

I went to this wing stop a couple days ago and made a to go order. I got my food and left then when I opened my order I got plain wings when I ordered garlic parmesan so I call and tell the manager she makes a big deal about saying she didn’t mess up bring it back. I was on the other side of town so I said I’ll bring it back after work. So I brought the wings back so she could see and she was smug about and didn’t apologize or anything. This was a bad experience especially since she’s the manager. I shouldn’t have to come all the way back across town to get 3 wings you messed up she could have gave me some fries or something to make up for her error.

Service is questionable, but the fries and the wings are delicious. I’ve had tenders, boneless wings, and bone in wings and they’re great. The ranch is also really good. On my first trip, a friend and I ordered separately, two registers, two cashiers… but when we got our food it was a mess. They called my name, but gave us her food and they never called her name, my food apparently lost in the fray. Turned out they’d put both tickets in the done stack and didn’t even prepare mine. On the second trip I ordered ahead of time and showed up 5 minutes late and it still wasn’t ready. Last trip, all was good, correct order and ready when I arrived.

I ordered. In 10 minutes my order was ready then I went home. To my dismay the order was incorrect. Wow! That sucked. So check out order before you leave despite the cheerful disposition.
I called back and the cashier told me she took my order and she remembers me. I expressed I was already home and she apologized then hung up. No good bye. Nothing. I immediately returned. She instructed she knew who I was and I told her she hung up on me. She lied and said she didn’t but she did. I’m tired and coming back is the last thing I wanted to do. Now I’m waiting.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars! The service at this location has gone down hill! The «Ross Wing Company» should be ashamed of this location. My brother in law and I place online orders, it said it would be ready by 6pm. When we get there and gave our names they looked at us like we were crazy! They told us they didn’t get our order and that there machine was broken. After we express our dissatisfied, the lady walked away and said I am not helping them. The manager came to talk to us and gave us a excuse that they told corporate about this and online ordering was not available. Nope still working! No offers to comp our meal or give us a discount!
I frequently go to Wingstop back home and get exceptional service!

Really three people behind the counter and each trying to convince the other to take my order? Ummm I’ll decide for you, as I did, and simply walk out. Ratchet! Memphis is not looking good so far! Never seen three black people act funny about serving another black person wow!

Been to this location maybe once or twice. Very good service. They were helpful since this location was my first. I prefer the Poplar location since it is closer to me. Food of course is fresh.

First off, Wingstop has some of the best hot wings around the country. The french fries are out of this world. They have to have brown sugar or something in them… I love that spice.
Now, with that said, let me explain my three star rating. Typically, when I go to the Winchester store I feel like no one cares. There won’t be a soul in the store and I will stand at the counter forever. I feel like sometimes they hope I will just go away.
Secondly, there have been several times where I went to the store during normal business hours, which I believe is typically until midnight on your normal night, and it was closed for no apparent reason.
One night, I showed up to the store around 10:30 (its open until midnight) and drove up to the store. I noticed the «open» sign was off, but there was plenty of staff in the store and the chairs will still on the ground. The staff looked at me like I had caught them in the act of closing early when they shouldn’t be.
It’s a real shame, since the food is good.

I can’t get enough of their hot buffalo wings (I like boneless) and fresh-​cut french fries. The prices and portions are really reasonable. The sides are family style so plenty for 2 people. They have EXCELLENT customer service. I was actually extremely surprised at the hospitality they serve up. Also, they have the coolest new coke machine (touch-​screen) in Memphis. You MUST try it out. The atmostphere is nice and it is really clean and crisp. All around the BEST service and wings in Memphis.
