Zaxby’s

Horrible. Got take out from here a few nights ago. Three orders: 2 of chicken fingers and fries and 1 of spicy chicken sandwich with fries. All fries tasted like fish. Disgusting. We couldn’t eat any of it. The chicken sandwich bottom bun was falling apart because it was over saturated with grease. Really gross. Chicken meat was all real, but dry and tasteless. What a waste of money. Best part of meal was their drinks feature mini-​cubes of ice, which I personally love.
Will definitely NOT be back. Ever. Would rather eat grass from a dog «park».

I had a great experience here. The guy at the front counter was extremely polite. Ordered two party platters and he had them out in less than 10 minutes. Even offered me a water while I wait.

Wow! I had no idea I would be so impressed by a Zaxby’s drive thru at 9 pm. These kids have got their act together! I pulled up and the line was loooong. I figured I would sit for a minute and then figure out somewhere else to go and leave. Nope! That line zipped along and I had my humongous chicken salad within 3 minutes total.
I spent 1 of those minutes chatting with the cashier who was super sweet (sorry people behind me.) She used to work with me and I know if they are hiring those sort of people, they appreciate good workers.
My salad was bigger than my belly and loaded with tons of really yummy chicken. I love that they put cucumbers in their salad and have the sliced tomatoes instead of the stupid cherry tomatoes everyone else uses!!! It could have used some more cheese (not being a fatty — there was less than an ounce on the huge salad) and some more dressing. Bread was meh but had good buttery flavor.

The lunchtime crew has their act together. The counter moves quickly and they get the orders right. At lunchtime, I need clean, fast, and accurate and this location does well.
I see cars moving in and out a lot faster than the neighboring fast food restaurants.
If you have limited time for lunch, this isn’t a bad choice.

I find Zaxby’s to be a good value. For $ 6.54 I get a nice grilled chicken sandwich, fries and a drink. The chicken is a good portion and moist. Fries are krinkle-​kut and lightly seasoned. Atmosphere is bright and comfortable; music is not loud. My only negative comment is that the lights hanging over the menu make it hard to read the items at the top. What idiot designed that?

I haven’t been to Zaxbys in a long time. So I went today and got the chicken finger sandwich and fries. The food was good. Not a place I would go to that often.

Came here because we had a Groupon for Zaxby’s. We both ordered the same meal consisting of chicken strips, fries, and Texas toast. It took them forever to process the Groupon (only a manager can do it), took forever to get our food, and by the time we got our food, my fries and toast were cold! I love the good taste of Zaxby’s, but I’ll go to the other location in Cordova in the future.

We all agreed the tenders were pretty good as was the honey mustard sauce. Onion rings, Texas toast and white cheddar bites were all good. Buffalo boneless wings and French fries were not too good. Chocolate cookie milk shake was awesome!

Living in Atlanta for many moons, I started to like Zaxby’s a lot. It is a great alternative to Chick Fil A when you feel overloaded. So I expected the same when I came to Memphis.
Thankfully, this location is right near the house, for better or for worse. You wonder why I give it only 2 stars? And yet I will go back? I am a glutton for punishment, I will admit that.
My very first time coming here, I remember sitting at the drive through line for about 5 minutes. No response. Awesome. So I drove to the window to see if anyone was alive. Everything was dark. This was a Saturday afternoon! Next thing I know, the power is out. Awesome. This has happened to me at this location 3 times.
Other times, I remember waiting in line 10 minutes or so, and not moving. See ya later Zaxby’s! I would rather eat on my shirt.
And of the 10 times I have been here, my order has been correct 6 of those times. It might be time to hunt for another location, because writing about this place just makes me hungry and angry at the same time…

I do like zaxbys, the food is good, but the service and cleanliness is severely slacking… it could definitely use some improvement.

Good Food but not so nice service.

It was ok. Girl working the counter spent more time on her cell phone than making sure our order was ready.

I did not eat at this location but I used them for catering. They did a great job the food was on time and hot; they were really great to work with. They give you a ton of food for the money get the Nibblerz Platter not available in the restaurant that I know of but they were good. This was my first time trying them out and I will use them again.

Decent fast fried food. Condiment bar was sticky and nasty, tables weren’t much better. In the 2 hrs I was there (business meeting) I never saw an employee come into the dining room to clean. Soap dispenser in bathroom was out and the automatic towel dispenser provide 3 inches of paper at a time.
This was likely my first and last visit to a Zaxby’s for a long time. I said the same thing after my last visit…6 yrs ago.
