Every time I come here(sadly, every morning as it’s the only one on the way to work) the employees act as if my very presence is an inconvenience, and a distraction away from their general, lazy milling around. I always order the same drink — caramel latte — and within the last month, I’ve had to hand my drink back four times as they didn’t put caramel in it. Four other times I’ve had to refuse my drink since, despite ordering a large and being asked to pay for a large, they tried to hand me a medium. Once is a mistake, twice is a trend, more than that — a pattern, and likely an intentional one. This morning it happened again, at the drive thru — I was handed a medium, explained that I ordered and just paid for a large, and the smarmy girl took it back and, directly in front of me, poured regular coffee in the new cup to make it a large rather than actually make more latte. She also handed me a stack of napkins — which they never do. I realized why soon after: she didn’t secure the lid and I was very soon covered in scalding coffee — my hands and arms, clothes, car, purse, phone. Awesome.
