Prior to this April I never had the pleasure of visiting Silver & Stone and meeting the extremely gracious and dynamic owner, Sydelle.
To say that she rocked my birthday presents in an understatement! Initially leaving with blue chalcedony earrings, Sydelle helped me – long distance, no less – add to my bounty with a custom-​designed ring and even more glorious earrings.
Sydelle isn’t scared of making a long-​distance call (some shop keepers can be very penurious that way) and will work with her customers, sending not only quotes but pictures. I treasure her for her kindness, humor, and professionalism.
As a former governor once said: «I’ll be back!»

One of my wife’s must stops on our annual pilgrimage to Mendo, he says unfortunately! In all seriousness, a great shop for unique, reasonably priced necklaces, earrings and other jewelry. The owner Sydelle is always welcoming and works in a perfect fashion to help find the right combo.

A wonderful store with a broad range of carefully selected jewelry. It is not easy to find beautiful jewelry at affordable prices, and Silver and Stone delivers. I am a return customer whenever I visit Mendocino, usually buying for my wife. The owner Sydelle is a lovely lady — very helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting.
I note the store has just moved to a new location on Main St, just a block or so away from the previous store.

This store is stock full of beautiful, affordable and artistic jewelry. The owner is very helpful and pleasant. We chose some very affordable, beautiful earrings for my wife’s honeymoon present which she loved.

This little gem of a shop is wonderful —
ALL the pieces are stunning, and
incredibly fairly priced.
The owner is also stunning — and really took her time with me as I was there twice (!!) and needed some help deciding.
The earrings are absolutely lovely — I must go back and get more.
And the owner buys carefully, so that all the pieces are unique and gorgeous.

I could have stayed longer looking at the jewelry — as the name indicates, they have nice pieces made from interesting stones and sterling silver. I had fun talking to the owner who opened the shop for us and even booked us into a great bed and breakfast! While watches are going out, I bought one of her last three watches as a dress watch.

Out of all the businesses I’ve visited in Mendocino that sells jewelry, Silver & Stone is probably the one with both the most affordable selection and also the largest selection. The stuff here probably won’t bowl you over the way some of the more high-​end, artsy pieces at the other stores will, but if you’re not down with surrendering a lot of money on jewelry there is a wide array of gorgeous casual jewelry here and phalanxes of artsy silver rings.
They also have a fairly good selection of men’s bling as well, which I appreciate. If I hadn’t blown all my money at the Gallery Bookshop (and at Papa Bear’s Chocolate House *cough*) I’d’ve walked out with a ring or two.
