We recently had our wedding at the Red Clover. It was absolutely amazing! The food was fantastic. We even had our rehearsal dinner there. They did the absolute best pulled port and BBQ dinner. The staff are great! Carol was our coordinator and she was absolutely indispensable. The amount of work the staff put in was unbelievable. They do things for you here for free that no other venue would even consider doing without some large expense. I would recommend anyone looking for a wedding venue in the New England area consider the Red Clover. I don’t think anywhere else we looked would have done even half as good a job. Edit: Just saw another review from a wedding about the bar closing early. Not sure what went on there, but we arranged for the bar to be open until 1:00AM.

We went Monday night where the special is $ 35 for the 3 course chef’s tasting. The food itself was delicious, and the experience was terrific. I would drive 5 hours to come back here it was that good. Sometimes I wonder if the food could possibly be worth the price tag, but I’ve since realized that it becomes more about the experience of trying new things than the actual food itself. Worth every penny will return when I get a chance.

Easily the best restaurant in the Killington area, the Red Clover is a true foodie destination and always delivers a fantastic meal and wonderful place to hang out afterward in the tavern. Get a room at the inn so you can enjoy your meal with some wine and then fall up to your room afterward. Breakfast is fabulous, too.

The Red Clover Inn is a warm, welcoming and lovely Vermont Inn nestled among the trees and down the mountain from Pico and Killington. As a restaurant, it’s a foodie’s delight. As a tavern, it’s a small, but a gem. As a bed & breakfast inn it’s romantic and comfortable in the extreme. The staff are kind and generous. The rooms are unique and filled with character. From intimate chambers to expansive suites, they have something for every taste and circumstance. We love this place.

Me and my boyfriend absolutely love this place! The staff is so accommodating. Everytime we go our room is upgraded. The food is absolutely amazing. All the staff is great but the server and bartender Dylan is always so friendly, we always look forward to our next return.

Great food, beautiful ambiance… some great employees but overall really disappointed in the service from the head honcho’s. Just not honest up front, then pretty rude to the bride and groom — rule 1 in hospitality business, you can be a firm and set the line, but you do it with a smile. Be honest about when the bar is going to close to your guests, 9pm for a wedding? That’s just ridiculous! But other than that, some of the best wedding food ever! Beautiful rooms & overall setting!

This is a great place to go for an amazing dinner! The service was amazing! The waiter would do anything we wanted! More water, got it! A tweak tithe meal, got it! The prices are a little high, but it is worth it! The foods are a little interesting, but very good. Me, my mom, and my dad shared venicine, duck, quail, scallops, and delicious desserts! We loved all of the dishes here! Not to mention, they have something Mon-Thurs– Jazz music Monday(just right volume) and other stuff on the weekdays! Their appetizers were also delicious! The water was also very good! Pure Vermont water! I highly recommend coming to this wonderful place to eat!!!

Had the pleasure of coming here for yet another birthday celebration with my boyfriend, his mother and with my favorite person Uncle Noël! We had 7:30 reservations and arrived promptly. This place has the most wonderful atmosphere and ambiance and is also a B&B from what I gathered. We sat at a table near the front window and were greeted by our waiter, we ordered up some drinks and looked over the menu. * Our waiter told us that they were participating in restaurant week and if we wanted to do that the entire table would have to participate. We opted out of that because we fancied other items on the menu that weren’t included in the prefixed menu. I ordered a malibu bay breeze in true Jeanna fashion and it was made perfectly so perfect I had about 3 of them. I decided to start out with the escargot(one of my personal favorites), my boyfriend got the potato and leek soup, uncle Noël got the Red Clover house salad, and momma got the cheese plate. The escargot was amazing and had at least a dozen in there, the snails were large but not unpleasant and paired well with the spicy kick the sauce left behind. Excellent. The potato leek soup was something interesting consistency wise. It was thick but light at the same time and was in much need of salt to elevate the dish. The salad must of been good because Noël finished it in no time, with that being said the cheese plate was my star of this meal. If you ever have the chance to experience honey comb do not miss out it is unbelievable paired with cheese and fruit preserves. My favorite was the creamy goat cheese with the honey comb and fig preserve. For our main courses we ordered up the salmon with asparagus, lamb lollypop and lamb osso bucco with creamed cauliflower, the vegetarian cavitelli, and for me the rib eye with blue cheese potato au gratin. I tried a little bite of the salmon and was unimpressed being that I never like salmon but always try it to see if my taste buds have changed(my bfs mother loved it). My rib eye was cooked to a perfect medium and had a delicious sauce. The potato au gratin was amazing and creamy, I was nervous the blue cheese would over whelm it but it was perfect. The lamb osso bucco was to die for and so tender you could cut it with a fork. I really enjoyed the mashed cauliflower. Dessert really blew my mind with the homemade chocolate ganache truffles rolled in cocoa nibs and crushed hazelnuts OMG it was amazing. My boyfriend ordered the salted caramel ice cream and that was rich and delicious. My momma ordered the lime crème brule… needless to say we were huge fans but it did have an interesting subtle lime flavor. This restaurant is a little hidden gem and I’m so happy I found it! I will most certainly be coming back here next season for round 2!

My husband and I loved this place! We arrived an hour early for our reservation(shame on us) and were warmly greeted and offered a drink at the bar while the chef finished up the menu. I had a glass of wine and my husband sampled the local maple rum. After admiring the Inn and grounds we decided to take our seats. The waitress was very friendly and professional and could tell us where everything on our plates came from. We started with Cape Cod oysters, fresh and delicious. For the main course I had a melt in your mouth steak frites, probably the best I’ve had in a very long time. My husband equally enjoyed his lobster risotto. We were offered a dessert menu at the end of our meal, but there just wasn’t any room left! I loved everything about this restaurant and will return on my next trip to Vermont.

Visited for dinner on Valentine’s Day 2014 and had a blast. I would describe the food as very straightforward(i.e. not trying to be overtly creative or Frenchy) but very well executed, with lots of fresh ingredients. It being V-day the place was full. Our server was both personable and knowledgable, and she made great recommendations for wine pairings which really enhanced the meal.

My wife took me here for my birthday based on the reviews. Very cute inn but we were the only ones in the entire place. I wanted the chefs prefix but my wife wanted something else. We were told both of us would have to order the prefix, okay no problem. We couldn’t decide our entrees so we ordered an appetizer. We were informed the chef does not like to cook the appetizer separate so we could not order an app without putting in our entrees. Getting a little weird but whatever. We ordered drinks, $ 12 for a cocktail, $ 11 for a glass of wine. I am starting to dislike this place. Stuffed date appetizer was very good. My wife’s duck was gross, there was more fat than meat. For $ 29, I would expect much better. My steak was okay but very chewy. I asked what the cut was and found out it was a hanger steak which is an extremely cheap cut of meat. For $ 27 I was disappointed. Overall, not terrible but I would not go back or recommend for the money.

Amazing find in Vermont right outside of the Killington tourist area. Very exquisite dining. We were more than satisfied. As soon as we viewed the menu online we knew we wanted to try it out. Definitely going back on our next ski trip. Such a great variety of food. All of us work in the restaurant business and would highly recommend tourists to step out of their comfort zone and try Red Clover Inn to enjoy a deliciously prepared meal.

5 stars! Absolutely delicious. I had the duck and it was completely better than any poultry dish I’ve had before. The dinning area is made of two dinning rooms and it feels like your in a nice ski B&B or someone’s fancy ski chalet — without being too ostentatious. They have an extensive wine list and our waiter was polished and friendly. For dessert my boyfriend and I share a delicious Blood Orange Crème Brule. I’d love to go back and stay over night in their lodgings.

Such a wonderful dinner(just ate at the restaurant, did not stay here)! The organic green salad was very tasty & fresh, my friend & I split a stuffed pepper special, and I had the salmon with local tomatoes. It was just the right amount of food, and the salmon was tremendously good. Excellent wine cellar, and the dessert was good. Waitress(Mandy) was extremely friendly, and had a good balance of chattiness & leaving us alone to our own conversation. But the best part of the evening? Seeing a black bear cub on the road as we drove up!
