Quickly becoming a favorite, not just in Killington, but all around. The food is amazing. As a vegetarian it can be tricky to find great food where you don’t have to alter the dish, or the only option is a salad. They have amazing vegetarian options! For the main dishes, they offer an appetizer size at a great price and a nice size where it can be hard to finish. The drink and wine list is amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly and the service is great. Highly recommend!

Delicious food and very friendly waitress. We got Rack of Lamb and Cod(if I remember well) with buttery sauce, covered with almonds. Delicious.

My family and I have been visiting Killington from NYC for more than a decade now. It’s one of our favorite places after traveling all over the USA. One of the central reasons that we continue to come back to this area is because of Choices Restaurant and the deliciousness that Chef Claude and his staff consistently deliver year after year. Some of our family’s tried and true favorites are: Appetizers: –Escargot — Garlic, buttery & delicious! –Potato Pancakes Bar Harbor — A savory take on potato pancakes served with lox and apple sauce. –Bayou Fried Oysters — Tried this for the first time in 2016 and it’s an amazing addition. The fried oysters are complimented with andouille sausage for a great favor and texture. –Lamb Chops– Chef Claude certainly knows what he is doing with the meat selections at choices. The lamb is prepared in a Greek style and the meat itself is flavorful and not too fatty. –Crab Cakes– So much crab meat! Entrées: — Fettuccine with Smoked Salmon, Pea Pods, and Scallions(Alfredo Style) — We have actually never encountered a similar dish in any other restaurant. It is such an unexpected but delicious combination that it has become my personal favorite. –Scallops Provencale — For those that love scallops, this is a must have. My mom has this every time. –Filet Mignon Saga– Delicious Filet Mignon medallions topped with blue cheese cream. — Duck Special(when available) — if it’s on the specials menu, I’m getting it! Desserts: The desserts are made in house and brought to you table side for you to choose to your liking. We had the pecan pie this week and it was drool worthy! Also, they have an awesome brunch offered on Sunday’s that I’m going to be heading to shortly. — The Goloubenko Family

After a mix up and my first review the manager kindly sent us a gift certificate for our next visit and highly exceeded any expectations that I had. We will be back to give Choices a second try! Thank you!

Wonderful menu, great service. I had the roast leg of lamb… it was fantastic. My wife had the prime rib and said it was phenomenal. The bacon jam chicken app is terrific. We will be back!

Went there for dinner on a Thursday night. Quiet night business wise. Ordered chicken strip with bacon jam as an appetizer. The chicken was raw in the center. At the end of dinner, which was pretty good, the waiter offered a free dessert and removed the charge for the chicken.

My wife and I chose this restaurant because it said the chef was a culinary institute graduate. I myself also a graduate. Although the service was attentive and pleasant. The food was very disappointing. If this is one of Vermont good restaurants I feel sorry for Vermont. The crab cake appetizer was flavorless, salads were very old school style. We ordered the lamb and duck breast entrees under seasoned over cooked. I am willing to pay good money for good food. This place certainly under delivered. After the meal I had no interest in meeting a former alumni.

Chef Claude and his staff serve up the Best food and service in all of Central Vermont, perhaps the entire State. We have enjoyed the Rotisserie lamb, pork, chicken and beef for over 15 years and have never once been disappointed. Do yourself a big favor and dine here and often!

I ordered the scallops, the taste was on point, but being a hefty male I found the portion a bit small. My girlfriend ordered a pasta dish that she was disappointed with because it had sneaky onions. I on the other hand found it flavorful. I didn’t love the atmosphere, but an overall good experience.

Pretty darn good, good music, but one of my parties dishes, the rotisserie, came out cool to the touch. We let them know and they offered us a dessert in the house! Everything is homemade so take advantage of all they have to offer!

We were looking for a dinner place during a weekend at Killington and decided on Choices after some positive Unilocal reviews. It’s not a huge or wild place, in fact it was quite empty at 6:00 on a Saturday night in peak ski season. The menu was good with a nice mix of $ 25 entrees and then $ 10 burgers and sandwiches. Most importantly the host and the waitstaff were extremely pleasant and when we were just checking out the menu they didn’t pressure us at all, despite the empty restaurant. The food was tasty, but nothing incredibly special. We all opted for sandwiches. The burger was basic with an oddly shaped oversized bun. The curly french fries were good, but could have been crispier. The chicken sandwiches seemed to be more successful than the burger. A few local craft beers on draft and a decent looking cocktail list.

I would rate choices a 4 star if wasn’t for the numerous people saying that it’s the best place to eat in town. The service was not good, and the food was okay. The server forgot a few items in our order and seemed to have too many tables. He also servered one of my table members by reaching infront of one of the other members of my party. I had the prime rib, which was done rotisory style and was displayed in the front. It looked great! It was an average prime rib in taste though and needed salt. Price was right though. I paid $ 56 all in for apps, prime rib, and several drinks. Also note the food looked very presentable.

Really enjoyed this place. The food was tasty and the atmosphere was busy even for a holiday weekend. I recommend going in the door and walking right to the bar, there are tables there and you can order the full menu and watch tv. Perfect. Each of us go the filet, which we all really enjoyed. The escargot were also tasty. Highlight may have been the pear salad. Get that for sure. Oh, they dont take reservations. Not sure if that is common in Killington but its true here… Recommend it.

I’ll start with the food: Out of nine dishes ordered, 2 were inedible(chicken fingers and curly potatos for kids), 5 had no tatse or flavour(for example escargo or blackened fish), 2 dishes were very good(lamb rack and cajun fettucini). But where this restaurant«shines» is the service: it’s horrible. I’ve called to reserve a table for nine, the person on the other end told me that they don’t accept reservations, which is fine. He also mentioned that they have some big parties and they will hardly have that big table in a while. So we drove there in 5 – 10 minutes and I asked the lady for two tables, possibly close to each other. Meanwhile the place has become almost empty, and I asked her to change us to one big table. She said that we have asked for two tables and it’s absolutely not possible to change. By the way, they’ve been in opposite corners in the empty restaurant. Then we waited for an hour for our food(the waiter was good though). So if you need good mood don’t go there, and don’t order any kid’s food.

Whats better than house made salad dressings, beautiful, doughy, yeasty rolls and homemade pasta? Half price glasses of wine on Sundays to help wash it all down with. We started with nachos, I had a house salad with creamy buttermilk herb dressing & had the fettuccine with shrimp, pesto & primavera veggies. BF had the chicken mushroom barley soup & Cajun chicken pasta… not nearly as spicy as advertised! YUM. We liked everything so much that we forgot to save room for the cheese plate and dessert. All the food was fantastic, and our stellar server, Amy, might be my new best friend. I can’t wait to go back. Minor gripes: Prices seem high for the area(used to paying the same for similar, but down in NYC/Westchester.) Décor is a bit dated, but if that sort of thing annoys you then we can’t hang. Other than that… if you’re in Killington… GO to Choices.
