We ordered lunch from Bay Area Catering for a meeting at our office and half the food was an hour late and the driver forgot our drinks. This isn’t the first time we have ordered from them and they always seem to have timing issues. When I called their office to see what the hold up was no one even offered an apology, the girl I talked to said she would talk to her manager and get back to me… which she never did. The food was ok but when ordering lunches for meetings being on time is the most important thing. Don’t order from here unless your ok with the bad service and you don’t care when your food shows up.

This catering company is the worst right now because they catered a meal at our business around July16 and as they cleaned up, they accidently took our office salt and pepper shakers. Wouldn’t be a big deal if they returned them right away. Now it’s almost the end of August and they have yet to return them. This is after many many emails and requests that they return them, and after talking to their management. We may not use their catering again. The salt and pepper shakers aren’t expensive, but the lack in customer service with this issue is ridiculous! Use them at your own risk and lose your stuff at your own risk!

I use B.A.C. all the time at my firm to cater our events. We have at least 1 catering request a week. The show up ON TIME usually about 10 minutes early, the presentation is great and everyone at the firm seems to really enjoy thier food. They don’t always have the most selections but in my opinion thier food is yummy and the staff is friendly

BAC also caters for my company’s lunches. Their hot buffet style meals are OK. Cooking for the masses is not easy, so I normally let this slide. I’ve had their Mexican and Italian spreads recently, and both were fairly well done. Jennie C.‘s previous comment about greasy or bland, while possibly true, the fact of the matter is that not everyone has the same tastes, so season at will.
My experience with their Mexican offering was the smell was intoxicating and well executed. They offered several types of beans (refried or whole black) and rice (brown and white), which meant I could have (or at least feel like I was having) a partially healthy Mexican meal. The guacamole was rather tasty, though overlooked.
The Italian spread was much better. They did not pre-​mix the noodles with proteins or sauces, so it was a mix-​at-​will sort of pasta bar. I’m not huge on needless carbs, so white pasta is not my thing. Filled up on my grilled chicken and salmon, light pasta with some marinara and I was good to go. Excellently done.
I’m really here because the cold meals provided in my fridge are awesome. The options are fairly healthy (grilled chicken, steamed veggies, brown rice, etc) and great when I miss the catering. I was impressed to see the squash was not mushy at all, which is hard to do when it has to be reheated.

Someone has a serious grudge with this company — maybe a competitor? In any case, we have hired Bay Area Catering & Events for several events on our campus and they have always been very prompt, reliable, and reasonable in price. The food is quite good and is presented attractively.
A real plus is that they will cater to small groups. I’d recommend you give them a try!

BAC caters for my company. The hot food lunches aren’t so great… often over greasy/​over-​cooked/​or over-​seasoned; the desserts are also way too sweet and funky tasting. The sandwiches/​salads and other cold items are also really… bland.
However, the box refrigerated microwave heat-​up meals (enchiladas, chicken marsala, tequila drunken chicken) are really good. No idea why that’s the case. They do try to be creative on their catering with themes… but it’s not always a great job done on the foods’ taste.

I know this company for experiences on many and big events, and I mean big. more than 1800 persons served in events that I organized, and they were happy with the services of BAC, plenty of delicious food, and delicacies. I can’t really tell you how good they are untill you find out for yourselves. You won’t be dissapointed in food and service.

Last week my company organized an event to welcome our international investors, I personally hired BAC after my friend widely gave me a recommendation, she wasnt mistaken, their professional service, exquisit elegant decorated food, their menu choices and their resanoble prices, I was impressed with the whole experience, I defenetely suggest everyone to try them you wont be desapointed! They will be catering our next companys thanksgiving fest!!!
