Based on our experience, I would stay away from Hayward Design Center. Our salesman, Doug, did a great job«selling us» on Kolbe but once the sale was made and commission pocketed he basically washed his hands of any further responsibility and contact with us. After the sale we were told that HDC outsources their Kolbe window installations and warranty repair work to third party vendors. The first time the windows arrived they were the wrong size. The installer had no choice other than return the order and contact Doug to try and find out what had taken place. A new order was placed and after several MONTHS the replacement windows finally arrived. When the installer came out for the second time he could not believe the windows were still not the correct size. He immediately contacted Doug who put the blame on the person at HDC who places the orders. It had now been 6 months and still no windows. If it had not been for the installer pushing HDC to get the order correct and taking the time to provide us status updates we would have cancelled the entire order and started over. Finally, when the product did arrive it seemed that the installer spent a lot of time making sure that what he had installed met our expectations. In retrospect, the only positive experience through this whole process was dealing with the install team. They definitely went the extra mile to ensure that all of our expectations were met, taking accountability throughout the entire process

It was time for new windows and a front door but needed something a little more upscale than what Home Depot had to offer so i visited this showroom. I met John and fell in love with this company instantly. He explained everything so I would easily understand what I need to purchase. The follow up was fantastic and delivered on time. Excellent products and Service. I recommend strongly.
