4-Ever Tan

I found this place through Groupon. I bought a Groupon for one year of unlimited tanning, plus a bottle of lotion, for $ 145. Great deal! When I first went there, to redeem my Groupon, I got to pick out a bottle of tanning lotion, and the employee told me that the Groupon users get to use their «Plus» beds. They have a 12-​minute Stand Up bed and two 15-​minute Lay Down beds available. I used the Stand Up. I’ve been back several times. I’ve never had to make an appointment. There have always been beds available. If the Stand Up is being used, then I’ll use the Lay Down.
The staff is very friendly. My only complaint is that the staff seems to be lacking in numbers. THREE TIMES I’ve driven there to tan, and they have been unexpectedly closed. They put a note on the door that says when they will be open. Today, the note said, «We will be closed until 3:30pm». This was at 1:00pm. This tells me, they must be quite understaffed, if they can’t get anyone to cover the tanning salon for a couple hours and must close. It’s very inconvenient to the customer!
Update: This place no longer has staffing problems. They are always open during their regular business hours. 4 stars!

This place no longer do nails. Ery nice person answered the phone and explained that they tried to get this information off of the internet.

Fake baking. EVERYone does it. … well, it seems like it. If you’re one of those people who does, or one of those other people who would like to, I recommend 4-​Ever Tan.
My first tanning experience was fifteen years ago with an establishment that didn’t suggest I buy one of their lotions. After two weeks of sessions in one of their normal beds with out any kind of lotion, the only tan I had to show for it was the tan I walked in with: my graveyard tan. (Sorry mom, that was a waste of money …)
Now, quite a few years later, I’ve been to several other tanning facilities (none of them worse than the first) and feel comfortable knowing what I want from the experience. 4-​Ever Tan may not be the most inexpensive, and may not stay open the longest, but their staff is always SUPREMELY pleasant, helpful, and fun.
Two months before my 30^th birthday (cue ominous musics), I put myself back on the tanning market and started my search. Well, … I started and ENDED my search. 4-​Ever Tan hooked me at the start. Their selection of lotions rotates, featuring what’s tried-​and-​true as well as what’s hot and tingling now. (For the record, I’m too much of a pussy for them tingling lotions. Yikes.) Ashley answered every single question I could rapid fire her way, took me on a tour of their facility, let me wander by myself (even to the point of making sure their bathroom is clean and comfortable), and made sure I got their «New Tanner» discount.
Stacey, who seems to me to be the Boss Mama of the bunch, has given me numerous tips regarding how to receive the best tan and how best to keep it. Did you know your skin can get used to a lotion you’ve been using for years? Yeah! Me either! She then gave me a selection of free samples (in a SWEEEEEET little tote bag!) to try every seven-​or-​so tans so my skin wouldn’t become accustomed to my regular lotion. YAY! When my month of unlimited tanning ran out, she cut me a deal on another package so I could keep coming back. (Sorry if I’m getting you into trouble, girl … but you awesome.)
**The one thing I appreciate most at 4-​Ever Tan is that, when they have your time set for you on your bed of choice, there is no two-​minute countdown during which you have to scramble out of your clothes and quickquick! smear on some of the lotion for which you paid out the butt. NO NO. Once you enter that room, you could spend a half hour putting lotion on every micrometer of exposed skin and THEN you decide to start the timer. BOOM.** (All other tanning salons I’ve been to include the SCRAMBLE! QUICKQUICKSMEAR!GO! rush.)
My one gripe is their abbreviated hours on Saturdays. Sundays, too. ‘Cuz I really need to increase my risk of skin cancer on Sundays, you see. It’s VERY important. No, not really.
Finally, of the dozens of times I’ve walked my pasty rear-​end through their front doors, I’ve never had an appointment and have only had to wait twice for my ONE room of choice. I wish 4-​Ever Tan had a website for reference, ‘cuz I can’t remember the technical aspects of their ubersuperpremiumGLORIOUS stand-​up that features 60% more powerful tanning power prowesses and 75% bronzing bronze bronzers, so just give Stacey a call. She will tell you what I clearly can’t.
