Always clean, organized, and well stocked. Prices are very reasonable, often less expensive than market prices. My go-to place for soup veggies.

I like coming here, usually for a few items that I don’t want to purchase at the regular grocery store, better prices on a few items. My favorite items I go for are snacks like dried fruit, nut mix & jerky

Their produce is nothing special. You can go to vins and get the same stuff. Imported from Mexico.

This has become a must-stop for my friend and I as we come-back from Big Bear. They have the best produce and some of the freshest produce around! Staff is friendly and there is always a wide variety of fresh items to choose from. One of the best produce stands I’ve been too!

Love this place !!! It’s my «go to» spot for all my fresh«stuff» ;) The strawberries are the absolute best ever! I also love it during Fall, when they have the most beautiful variety of pumpkins It’s super convenient to be able to grab milk, cheese, dairy, along with fresh bread, even though I’m there to buy fresh produce. It’s just fantastic. Oh, and Lisa is the best. She’s always so nice and brightens my day ! One of the best businesses that Mentone has to offer, by far! A hundred and one stars !!! :)

The prices are great ! I loved the selection of different things. The peach I had to was the best! I will be going back soon! The oranges are huge there also!

Please stay open longer is my only complaint. Great selection of candies, nuts, produce, vegetables. Displayed nicely. To go size packages. Specialty items. Jams, jellies, spices. Fun. Entertaining. Nice cold box for sodas too. Very pleasant help. Especially the gentleman who opened my soda. He knows who he is. Great service with a smile. Working not standing around. :)

Just found this place and though I would get some grapes real fast on my way home. Had no idea it was as big or as good as it was. Prices are lower than the grocery store for most things and overall it seems like a lot of it is locally grown and fresher than most supermarkets. I will certainly be back.

I am not lucky to live in Mentone but lucky enough that this place is in Mentone cause I love it. Run by very friendly people. Great prices. I always go there to stock up on my produce for all the new recipes I try. You name it, they probably have it. And you can use your debit card and pick up some cool snacks too. Make great christmas gifts. The toffee sunflower seeds are to die for.

Best place to buy produce, always fresh and the fruit is always sweet. My wife and I have visited all the other markets in the area and will always come back to Staffords. Can’t recommend them enough, for the price, the quality and the staff.

We love to stop here on our way home from Big Bear. We get a strange variety of things, grapes and watermelon for Bianka, strawberries for Dani, wasabi peas for Steve, peanut brittle and trail mix for Peggy, pecan roll for my mom, fudge for my dad, peanuts for the squirrles and bubble gum for Sammi. And now I am kicking myself for not getting some of the sourdough four cheese bread!!! Wonderful helpful employees! Almost makes me want to move to Redlands… almost…

I buy all my produce here. They are closes a couple days during the week, but I have grown accustomed to that. They accept cards here but like everything else in this world, there is a fee, so bring your cash! The staff is always nice and helpful. They have a great variety of local freah breads, candies, jarred goods and nuts. Stop by and check it out and I promise you wont go back to Stater brothers for your good produce!

I always stop by here on my way up to Big Bear. It is a nice little grocery market with fresh vegetables and fruits, etc. They have an entire section on snacks(nuts, candy, dried fruits, etc). In addition, there are also what seems to be home or farm-made jams and the like. This place has nice employees too! I would say this is small a hole in the wall grocery store.

I stopped here because I wanted to buy fresh local produce. I bought tomatoes, strawberries and blueberries. The tomatoes were packaged in shrink-wrap, and when I opened the package I found that they each had a «product of Mexico» label. They were packaged with the labeled side facing down, which I consider deceptive. The strawberries were also from Mexico and the blueberries were from Chile. If I’d had my glasses with me I would have read the fine print, but I just assumed that during California strawberry season they would carry California strawberries. Perhaps they carry some locally produced foods, but I won’t be back to find out.

I was shown this place recently, and immediately knew I’d be returning in the near future. They of course have fresh fruit, but the canned goods, trail mixes, and dried fruit sets them appart from other fruit stands/produce stores. «Expansive» is definately the word I would use to describe their nut & trail mix selection. Well priced, and fresh. I took home my purchases thinking that they might be too good to be true and taste like the name brands, but they taste like what we used to get at the farms. I love this place.

I go there often. It’s quicker than the grocery store if u just want fruit nuts bread or veggies. The staff are always pleasant. Every once in a while the apples are mushy. Wouldn’t u think a fruit market would have the best apples? Just sayin’

I found this gem a few weeks ago & plan to return every weekend. I would much rather support local farms for my fresh produce then the large chain stores who import their veggies(pesticide-ridden, mind you) from other states and mostly other countries! Stafford has a great selection, great prices & large amounts of jarred foods you can purchase too. Their selection of nuts & trail mixes is expansive! Great service & great products makes me one happy customer!
