Still my favorite restaurant in the area. I just read people complain about different servers waiting on them. To me, that is one of the strengths of First Watch. Everyone takes responsibility to make sure every customer has a good experience regardless of whose name is on the ticket. Great idea. Wish all restaurants had the philosophy rather than saying«please find my server.»

I have never been to this place in the two years I have lived nearby. Don’t know how I missed it, but it’s been my loss. Great breakfast options. Everything from healthy to naughty and yummy. One of the best is the avocado toast. A thick slab of artisanal bread, lots of avocado and a nice runny egg on top. HEAVEN! Fast and friendly service and great for take out too.

Second time and just as good as the first they have a fall selection that will knock your socks off! Having surprise and shine juice with pumpkin pancakes. So very delightful we need one of these in racine.

2days in town for Germanfest, 2 visits here. Very good food and service. Clean, fresh and friendly. Comfortable setting. Hash the first day, omelette the next day, waffle for the Mrs. Would bring anyone here, lots to chose from. I’ll be back.

I visited First Watch for the second time because I so enjoyed my first visit. I took a friend who had not been there but heard from me that it was a good place to eat. This time I ordered the«Healthy Turkey«. Described as a egg white omelet with turkey, house roasted onions, tomatoes, spinach and feta. The first omelet was cold and was returned. The second one came back warmer on the ends, but cold towards the middle. The onions were raw, never being roasted. The other ingredients were as described, but the fact they were cold was disappointing. I can’t believe I was in the same restaurant, won’t be in a hurry to go back. My friend ordered the French toast with fruit, which she described as just okay. The wait staff was great.

For a chain restaurant, it’s pretty good. Better than the Denny’s and IHOP varieties. Our family of 4 went for breakfast Sunday morning. We’re there before the rush, around 8am. Service was quick and friendly. Food was fresh and tasty. A bit slow to come out given the amount of patrons in the restaurant. But all our meals were to-order. Eggs, pancakes, crepes, oatmeal, fruit.

Have been here a few times for lunch with co-workers and family. Their pancakes are good(though not mind-blowing), and their eggs benedict is fantastic. They also have a way with potatoes. Décor is up to date and the dining area is clean, well-lit, and well-maintained. My only gripe is that during busy times it can be hard to flag down a waitperson for a box or the check. I recommend First Watch if you’re looking for breakfast in the Mequon area!

Long wait for breakfast but once received it was worth the wait. Omelletes were full of ingredients and hashbrowns were seasoned perfectly. French toast was good as well. Will definitely return the next time we visit family. 8÷24÷14

I’ve heard great things about this joint since they first opened, but don’t get up to Mequon that often. We went here for Father’s day and the place was presumably packed. The décor is like a modernized diner feel with enormous booths(perfect for my giant limbs and slight claustrophobia) and bright fruit-inspired paintings on the walls. The menu is immediately inciting with lots of healthy choices seen less often at other brunch places. My mom and I split the acapulco express with chorizo sausage, green chills, etc. and I had very high hopes but it delivered a bit dry and lacking of flavor. My dad ordered the monte cristo and it was heaven. Makes sense that the faja would get a solid meal on Father’s Day. The food took much too long to get, but again, it was Father’s Day so I’m hoping their service is usually much more prompt. All in all, I’d be back to try something else on the menu. Probably not an omelette. But happy to see all the healthy options.

Complete opposite of a greasy spoon. Definitely go here after a hot yoga class on a Saturday. I’m the kind of person that enjoys eggs benedict with my hollandaise, but I can certainly appreciate a healthy breakfast. I got the turkey and avocado benedict, and it was super good– but limited on the hollandaise. I’m sure if you asked, they would give you more. Good service when I went there, but I hear it can be dicey at times. All in all, the first watch serves a good meal.

My wife and I really enjoyed our meal here. They have a great variety of different specials that sounded delicious. I ended up going with the Monte Crisco and it was very good. A little one note with the Dijon being the most prominent flavor but still very good. The greens with a strawberry /raspberry vinaigrette were very good too. I nibbled on a few after my sandwich which is rare as I hate«rabbit food» and even I would have eaten more of the greens if I hadn’t been so full! I like that they offer flavored creamers for your coffee. My wife ordered chocolate chip pancakes which were HUGE! Overall the food was tasty and we would definitely come back.

This place is nothing special. First, it had limited hours. Next, the prices aren’t worth the quality you get. Finally, it needs a bigger menu and bigger quantities on the amount of food you get on your plate. I know this is a chain place but certainly improvements could be made to this place.

I went here 3 – 4 times within the first few months it was open. The place is in the Mequon Pavilion, which is dwindling with stores. That aspect makes this breakfast spot an unique ambiance. The breakfast is pretty average, nothing too special. Same with their salads. But, I do like that they are a fresh addition to the place. They are a chain so you may have seen them in other states yet it is new to me.

I’ve only been here once so I don’t want to say that I’m an authority on First Watch, but my experience was so «meh» that it’s hard to believe that there is something more ambitious under the surface that I’m missing. I came to first watch because I assumed it would be a nice, cheap alternative to the scourge of chains that plague the bleak landscape of Mequon’s lunch-providing strip. I was right about the price, everything was pretty fair, maybe a couple dollars in order to not have to eat creepy factory chain food. The service was quick, polite and accommodating. The restaurant was just a big boxy place. Nothing very signature or individualistic about, just a big boxy room that has a totally cookie cutter dining room approach to it. If my memory serves me right there is a bit of expo to the kitchen and I think I saw tens of cans of oatmeal, which is telling. The aesthetic approach to First Watch is pretty befitting of restaurants in River Hills, which is to say its weird and almost misleading. For some reason almost every single sign/logo/whatever of every establishment looks like a tanning salon to me. For a region that can afford refinement and elegance, River Hills certainly isn’t abundant in either when it comes to how things look. Anyways, the menu is big and has a health focus so that’s kind of nice, but my dish was probably the least inspired thing on the planet. I forgot what the cutesy name of it was but for like $ 8 it was nothing but a bowl of sauteed mushrooms with some cheese on it. Blech. I dunno. I probably won’t ever go back but I wasn’t overwhelmingly offended by anything at First Watch either. Just another boring place to have breakfast/lunch. I wish there were more exciting options for dining when I’m stuck in the ‘Quon.

Such a steal for the Brookfield area, this place specializes in a breakfast that puts the surrounding family restaurants to shame. Running with the healthy trend, First Watch serves up low glycemic carb breakfasts like oatmeal and quinoa, but also includes two full menus of egg and omelet dishes. Also, they happily substitute your breakfast potatoes for fruit with no issues.

I’ve been here just once for a breakfast in which I paid more attention to the chit chat than the food – but still, I was pleased as pie. First Watch has a lot going for it: –Bright, casual, fairly inexpensive diner atmosphere, very welcome in hoity Mequon. –Nice menu of breakfast stuff. I love breakfast for lunch. They also serve some soups and salads. –They leave a full pitcher of coffee, tea, or water on the table. Yay! I’m surprised this annoys some Unilocalers – I drink of lot of tea or coffee and hate looking around plaintively for the waiter when I need a refill. –You can get eggs and sausage with your pancake or waffle. It’s probably just me, but I like a protein option with my carby pancakes. –Food’s quite good!

Tried this watch on over and over again and I just can’t buy it, maybe time to get that Rolex. The food is just sub par. The egg white omelet has zero flavor. The biscuits and gravy, pure floury mess with no seasoning. The other day one of the members in our party ordered eggs with a side of steamed broccoli. The eggs were cold and the broccoli was not cooked. There are other breakfast places I would highly recommend in the area over First Watch. I doubt a fifth chance will happen.

I’ve been to First Watch several times. Good atmosphere with bright colorful art, prompt service, and an impressive menu that will knock your socks off. I took advantage of the Unilocal deal($ 8 for $ 16). While I like the menu, I haven’t been impressed with the product. I had biscuits and gravy with eggs. The biscuits were dry and the gravy lacked flavor. It was floury and one note. Some spice and added dimensions would so it justice. I haven’t tried the lunch menu. I will give it another shot. Still there are other favorite breakfast spots I prefer over this place.

I can eat eggs anytime and anywhere. Lucky for me, First Watch boasts a menu with a wide variety of «eggy» options. I often stop here for lunch. I am not a burgers and fries kind of girl so the idea of an egg crêpe with fruit and breakfast potatoes makes me just short of giddy. My favorite is the Turkey Chive Crêpe Eggs: A thin crêpe layered with eggs, turkey, spinach, house-roasted onions and Monterey Jack. Topped with diced tomatoes, chives and hollandaise. Served with an English muffin.($ 7.99). I order mine sans hollandaise but I’m sure it is delicious for those who like that. The plate is enough for two meals for me. To my delight, it tastes just as good reheated the next day. They are also happy to swap out the English muffin for fruit, if you prefer. The service is usually friendly and peppy. They also offer the Sun eClub that sends fantastic coupons and even a free birthday meal. With the high quality, good-tasting food, friendly service and reasonable prices they are sure to have a regular on their hands sooner than later. Other notes: This place is not the easiest to find unless you know what you are looking for. It is located in the Mequon Pavilion(strip mall) next to the Chancery. The parking lot entrance is very steep so slow down to avoid bottoming out your vehicle. Also, I originally did not visit because I thought it was a Christian bookstore; the façade does not scream out«restaurant» and I wasn’t alone. My other friend thought it was a day care center. In any case, he enjoys their food now as much as I do now that I’ve «shown him the light».
