This store is over priced. They have okay stuff in there and I can occasionally find a little something… Clothing here is okay. The one in Turlock off of freeway is much better and well organized. I would recommend going there instead.

This goodwill is so expensive compared to other ones I’ve been to. I have found similar items sold here at other goodwills for a lower price. I got a brand new Cherokee sweater for $ 2.75 at another goodwill and at this store, they sell the same one for $ 7. Whoever is marking the prices on these items really needs to take in to consideration that this is a THRIFTSTORE not Target. These clothes have been thrown around in bins with other dirty clothes, they’re value isn’t the same anymore.

I live in a nearby town, and have been shopping at this store off and on for about 10 years. Today, the organization of the store was A M A Z I N G! I’m serious, I have never seen a thrift store so well organized, with everything neatly hung on the right kind of hanger. And clean! I was looking specifically for men’s long-sleeved shirts, which were easy to find, and I bought two name brand shirts that I don’t think have ever been worn. I was in the store for less than 10 minutes, because I didn’t need to hunt. I cruised the entire store before checking out, and every section was immaculate. Kudos to the staff and their obvious OCD! Some additional information … Overall, this is a fairly large thrift store. Lots of clothes for all ages and all sexes. Some kitchen items, games, books, CDs, DVDs, etc. Well worth the trip!

Goodwill would probably be one of my lesser favorites, only because I’ve been spoiled by other thrift stores in Merced with good deals & super cheap prices for the same quality of clothing. Today I took a stroll to see if they had any smocks but they had a few and only in smaller sizes and mostly in blue… No prints or patterns, my other shop does! Our Goodwill also never seems to have a big array of plus size clothing compared to my other one. I managed to find 2 tops today 1 Old Navy xl but stretchy YAY! & the other a brand I’ve never heard of. The tops were $ 3.50 each so my trip cost me $ 7…They currently have a small rack or 2 with green tag items for $ 1 but it’s nothing anyone would probably be interested in… rather dated or with some flaws. I remember back in the day when you could search through the dollar bin of misc clothing items, that dollar bin now holds stuffed animals which I’ve never bothered to look at because who wants to be a stuffed animal hoarder, right? The staff was pleasant and one girl took time to answer my question as she was on her way out for lunch, much appreciated. The dressing rooms are spacious and clean and have doors and locks! I LOVE that part. The knick knacks on the side are really a hit or miss type thing. They always seem to have a large aray of baskets lol. Furniture is priced moderately… although I wouldnt want to pay $ 30 for 3 wooden used chairs that would need repainting, etc. Dressers and couches seem to be marked too high for my blood, I’ve seen them range from $ 30-$ 50 if not higher… OH! and get this! You can buy a pair of curtains for $ 2.50, cool deal… BUT if you buy 1 curtain it’s $ 4.50…Anyone care to explain that one to me? Makes no sense to me and left us feeling a bit ripped off being that we just got a pair for cheaper a day prior(no discounts were given either time)… I also heard the manager say 25% senior discount on Tuesdays. W00t go seniors! So meh if I’m in the area at Savemart or Staples I’ll stop in see if I can find something that I think is worth it but if I’m out and about I go to another Thrift store in Merced… But im not telling you were… My good deals lol!

I love this place. Everything is so organized and cheap that I always end up making a trip once a week. I like how everything is more on the modern side so you’re not looking through clothes your grandparents would have worn. This is a great place to find high-wasted jeans to turn into shorts, decent shoes, and purses. Look for the days when they have $ 1 shirts and $ 2 jeans.
