This place is amazing. I love the staff always so nice and super friendly. Its a small place so I normally get my food to go, but its also a nice place to sit and talk with friends. They have a salsa bar, which is always awesome, and they offer very generous portions. My favorite thing is either the molcajete or the pina loca. Closest to homemade Mexican food that I have found to date. I frequent this place so you will probably see me here.

Love, love, love this place. Small dinning room but big on flavor that’s for sure. Best taco’s in town hands down. I would recommend this place to any of my family and friends.

Great michelada! Came here just for the michelada. The salsa for the chips is pretty tasty as well.

The waffles fries(with steak) are really good but the jumbo burrito(half chicken, half steak, with everything) is so soggy. The rice wasn’t flavorful enough and was too wet.

One word, AMAZING! We tried this place when they first opened and have been coming back at least twice a week for their food! The staff are extremely nice and suuuuper friendly! Their food is just delicious! Portions are big and the food is authentic! If you think El Asadero or Victoria’s is good, give this place a try and you’ll realize you’ve been missing out on GOOD Mexican food! Our favorites are the waffle fries(looove loooove it!), wet burrito, and their tacos! Their horchata is my faaaave! All are so tasty and big enough to share! You’d have to try it to believe it! Oh and they give you chips to munch on too while waiting. Can’t get any better than that!

My friends and I went to Merced to visit our dear o’ friend. We wanted some Mexican food and she recommended this place. My love for Mexican food is real lol. The super burrito here is big & when I say big. it’s B I G! It was definitely fulfilling. I wanna try their wet burrito next time. My friend got the waffle fries something & that was pretty bomb. The fries were crispy and topped off with guac, sour cream, tomatoes, & all that goodness. They’re definitely not cheap with their meat/portions!

New Mexican restaurant in Merced, nice! Good food and friendly people, and they don’t mess up my simple order. That’s about all I will look for in a Mexican restaurant, so they meet my expectations for sure. Although their green sauce needs work. That’s about it.

Prices are affordable, service is spot on and the food is good. I say much better than it’s predecessor, Jose’s. Carnitas are very good and they serve tacos to order. The molcajete was packed with meat and very well done. The flavors worked together very well. I will be back!

Nothing spectacular. This is what replaced Jose’s, which was amazing. The torta was big, but also very greasy and definitely not worth 10 bucks. And that’s without any extras. The meat was decent but it was in one giant slab when chopped up would have been a lot more convenient and less messy. It was also kind of fatty and had a distinct taste like it was prepared on the same grill right after fish of some sort. The girl at the counter was nice enough, but she couldn’t have been over 15 and really had no clue about how the food was prepared. I might give them another try, but it’s hard when there are so many other excellent Mexican spots in town.
