This location is super stingy on the nuggets sauce. They seem to always forget to give me the sauce so make sure you check your bag before driving off and don’t bother asking the person at the window, they will say the sauce is in bag. Also, most locations give you 1 sauce for the 6 pieces, 2 for the 10 pieces and 4 for the 20 piece nuggets. This location, will only give you 1 sauce for the 10 piece and 3 sauce for the 20 piece nuggets. Check your order before you leave.

I can never find this place — even though downtown Moses Rock is 3 blocks wide… Their prices are more than the other McDonalds in King County… really. Well, I guess it is a privilege to even have a McDonalds on the island… wasn’t impressed.

It’s difficult making any special order here, as the staff seems to have difficulty understanding. I ordered the oatmeal with just hot water and fruit(don’t want the creamer or the brown sugar). They gave me a cup of hot water and a side of fruit. Everytime I order this way they mess it up, either the sugar is still there or the creamer or both, they don’t seem to understand the special order even though the drivethru screen has it correct. I’ve also caught them adding hot water to decaf when they’re short, or even using regular coffee instead of decaf. McDonalds really needs to work on their employees communication skills.

You are probably wondering who in their right mind would give a McDonald’s five stars on a review? Well here’s why, it’s a McDonald’s, it taste like a McDonald’s, it looks like a McDonald’s, if you don’t know any better and that’s on you, And you can go chicken McNuggets yourself.

I actually would give this McDonalds ZERO stars for being the worst McDonalds for customer service, and believe me, we ALL have eaten at a lot of McDonalds over the years. I am new to Mercer Island, and as I have learned, this is THE desired place to live in the Seattle area. I do not care if it is Bellevue, Seattle, Chicago, Beverly Hills — there is standard for McDonalds service that most have come to expect. I don’t care if the food is inexpensive, customer service is still customer service. The franchise owner of this store needs to retrain ALL of his employees on what exactly that means. Also, the management needs retraining because if they allow their employees to speak rudely to the customers, that also reflects on them. I think the staff here needs to remember they have a job and their job is to serve the customer, not chat with their friends behind the counter(or in the drive up). If they did less of that, the service would be quality and there would be less screw ups with orders. Also too, they need to train their people in menu items and listening skills, not sarcastic, beyond rude behavior.

This is McDonalds. You know what you’re getting. So please don’t act all high and mighty by giving this place a 1⁄5 stars because it has food that’s unhealthy. We all know it is. Now, for what you might not know about THIS McDonalds. It is THE cleanest McDonald’s I have ever been to. On top of that, they have tv’s installed on each corner of the restaurant for you to either relax and catch up on some news while you’re eating, or background noise while reading a newspaper. Wait, a relaxing McDonalds? Yup. Relaxing and, for majority of my visits, very quiet. The best McDonalds you’ll find outside of the memory you had of the place growing up.

A block from my place, it’s just too convenient to get my vanilla-twist-cone fix…

It’s a McDonald’s. You know what the food tastes like. I’m really happy to see that this McDonald’s is pretty clean and there aren’t shady individuals that hang around(cough Seattle). Plus for my takeout order they were pretty quick about it. It’s cheap and reliable although not necessarily the healthiest food option.

This is the worst McDonalds I have been to. This morning I stopped by about 7:15 am and ordered two coffees, an egg mcmuffin a mcgridle and sausage mcmuffin with egg. The coffee was un-drinkable, and I am usually a big fan of McDonald’s coffee. It’s a shame. I believe the coffee must have been left over from the night before.

Well, they did it again. Tartar sauce in a paper nugget box. Unacceptable. See photo.

This McDonald’s is very clean and the employees were very diligent in keeping up the overall maintenance of things. I ordered the McBites because I have been seeing posters of these things for months and been wanting to try it. I wanted the smallest one, but the cashier gave me regular size and charged me for it. The McBites didn’t live up the hype. The package read, «Make a meal out of these crispy bites» but the pieces have so little chicken in them, that it would hard to make a meal out of them. Also, the statement: «you will experience a delicious new way to love chicken» is really pure propaganda. Don’t get me wrong. The McBites were tasty and not a bad product. But you just don’t get very much for $ 2.99. The sauce holder on the package was fancy but the novelty wore out after a bit. And since the pieces are so small, you can’t get too much sauce on them. So eventually, the sauce would be too heavy for the package to support and cause it to tip over unless you had it in a car cup holder. But eating and driving sounds like a bad idea so I hope that’s not what McDonald’s envisioned when they designed the package.

I like the new remodel at this McD’s. It is our«home town» McDonalds and I find it to be a friendly location that has little enough staff turnover that I feel it is familiar and comfortable. They do a good job getting special orders right.

Went through the drive through. Fast & friendly service. Soft serve was delicious when that random sweet craving hits!

As I’ve gotten older I’ve eaten at McDonald’s less and less. Where I used to be excited as kid to get an Egg McMuffin, now I reach for even frozen food before I head to one since I can never validate the calories when weighed against the quality of one of their meals. I’m not surprised that my tastes, like many things with age, have changed. What I didn’t expect to change was the resilience of my stomach. The only two times I’ve gone to this McDonald’s I have, within hours, been in pain from a stomach ache. Once from cheeseburgers, once from a pair of spicy chicken sandwiches. I understand McDonald’s big thing is that its food is cheap. I’m not expecting a great meal here. However, I don’t have a weak stomach — I *love* spicy food. Therefore I shouldn’t feel like Krusty the Klown eating a Krusty O.

SOSATISFYING! After two tests at the HS today, I wanted to treat myself to something sweet and special. I decided to head over to McD’s for vanilla soft serve. It was for sure, the correct decision. Everything about is is absolutely perfect, delicious, and affordable. At the same time, they used to be 99 cents! SIGH. Anyway, the Mcstaff was friendly, as always. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered rude service at McD’s, plus! I was excited to take my first lick of soft serve. I thanked the server, and hurried back to my car. The first lick is always the best, but you ruin the ice cream’s swirl immediately. WHOCARES! It’s so worth it. I can just take a picture… lasts much longer. The next 298038210328 bites are pure bliss, and it’s indescribable how tasty it is. HOLYMOLY. I’m coming back for more, and I want to try their chocolate dipped vanilla cone!

Whoah! There’s a McD’s on Mercer Island??? And no one has Unilocaled it yet!!! What’s going on? I mean the menu here must be upscale, right??? Linen napkins? A dress code? Sweet breads? Wine menu? Ahhh… I’ll have a bottle of your finest McChardonnay please… I have to question my use of «?» marks in this review… *stumbles away to get more coffee*
