I had a wonderful experience with ColorShed. The staff was extremely helpful and worked around my difficult schedule. The recommendations were spot on. I love my finished house!

I have to say I disagree with L.H. on all levels. I have been a homeowner in the Lakes Region since 1987, and I have used Colorshed’s services in all 3 of the houses I have owned, including the house I completely renovated. I have found excellent service in the many times I have used them, from small projects to complete renovations. Any thing that did go wrong was fixed immediately and without complaint. I was given a quote each time that was right on the money — there were no extra charges added in. I would strongly recommend this business to anyone looking to do a household project small or large and I can honestly say I give this business my highest recommendation.

This is the worst small business that I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I prefer to do business with local businesses. While the prices at Home Depot and Lowes were much better, I decided that it would be worth it to have a local company in case of problems or the need for future service. What a mistake. The prices were high to begin with and then they tried to screw me by hitting me for all the extra charges that were part of the original deal. For example, they didn’t know they were going to need adhesive for tile? The attitude was terrible, they were extremely difficult to work with. It took weeks to get them to put estimates together because everyone has reduced hours, supposedly because of the economy. I used them for wood flooring and tile work. I wouldn’t use them if they were the last business on earth. I never bother to write reviews but i couldn’t let someone else endure this if it could be avoided. Avoid these people at all cost. Lowes in Gilford is very friendly, has good prices, provides estimates promptly and shows up exactly when they say they will.
I am in my fifties and have owned and renovated several homes and this is literally the single worst experience with a small business I have ever had.
