I came to 2this Macy’s looking for a foundation and a lipstick. There were 2 employees there, one was doing a makeup and the other one was behind the counter looking for something. I stand there like for 5 minutes and they both ignored me! One of them, her name was something like Lynisa, and I didn’t catch the name of the other one because she always gave me her back! She looked at me and she didn’t ask anything, she just kept working and that’s ok, but I needed help and if she couldn’t help me at least she can try to look for someone to help me. So I finally asked Lynisha that I needed help with the lipsticks and she just said, «this are the lipsticks right there. You have to look for your self because we both are in the middle of makeovers». Ahhhh!!! I mean that was the truth but how do you tell a client that and in the way she did??? Anyways I wasn’t going to buy anything cheap. It’s Lancome, and I needed someone to help me and orient me since I want to cover some spots in my face etc. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with this 2 employees. Maybe you go to the Lancome counter and you will find different employees and your experience will be different, but this experience today, was really bad. Im. not coming back to this counter and I’m not going to recommend this to anyone.

I went to the MAC counter and bought a lipstick and some lightening cream and ugh I love this counter. The staff were very attentive and were quick to find what I need. I was doing swatches and I wasn’t bothered or hovered over. There was one girl who was at the counter I didn’t get to talk to, but her hair was purple like mine and it was flawless. Oh, and all their makeup was perfect. When I was in the coats in a department upstairs I found more than what I wanted. I think Macy’s in general is kind of yucky(I think it’s their carpet), but I like this one in particular. I was able to check out using a coupon I didn’t have with me and the lady working the counter even called to make sure I could get my discount. This was a pleasant experience and a successful shopping spree

I went to the Westfield Mall in Meriden, CT this morning with the intentions of buying a few items at Macy’s. When I couldn’t find the petite section I asked the salesperson for help. She said we don’t carny no petites anymore. It is a sad state of affairs when we can cater to the plus sizes and the sales people do not know how to speak proper English. That is the end of my shopping at the Westfield Mall in Meriden. The whole mall has gone down hill.

I love Macy’s, where you still have someone who asks to help you. Who folds your clothes before placing in your bag,(unlike Kohl’s who rolls them up and places them with your candles, shoes, pans, with the hangers on). I enjoy shopping there and will continue to.

Clean, but I believe that is because no one shops there. No annoying salesmen employees come up to me to try to sell me things, but that also means it is tough to find help when I am ready to buy. Easily accessible from the parking lot. I believe part of the reason this store is so clean is because the prices are so high, no one bothers going in there except to cut through it between the parking lot and the inside of the mall. If you need a name brand item, this is the place to go. If you want a name brand item on sale, go to amazon or TJ Maxx.
