Some friends and I stopped in here last night after we were done shopping in the mall this restaurant is located in. We were seated right away next to a window and we were given menus. The chair I ended up with was super wobbly and didn’t feel safe so I had to swap it out with one from the empty neighboring table. Our waitress, Ashley, was at our table taking our drink and entrée orders within minutes. Ashley is an absolute pleasure and we tried not too take too much of her time although she is very personable. The salad bar was well stocked, clean, and everything was fresh. The one complaint I have is that nothing is labeled except the dressings. Labels would have come in handy when I took what I thought was red skinned potato salad but turned out to be apples in yogurt sauce. It was extremely strange to taste sweet apple when you expect potato. My friend had the colossal burger and I can not believe he ate the whole thing! It was huge! He said it was really good though. We were almost done eating by the time our cheddar biscuits made it to the table, that was disappointing. My friends split the strawberry shortcake sundae for dessert and they finished the whole thing so it must have been good lol. It’s a chain restaurant, I try not to get my hopes up too much. I’m giving 3 stars for the decent visit/service.

Had the best 5.00 happy hour burger at 10pm along with an amazing peach margarita. My burger was cooked well done and not burnt. It was juicy and not dry. THANKYOUFORGETTINGITRIGHT. The closing staff was friendly and would definitely return and hope for the same everything

Surprised at what this experience has become. I suppose that being the only sit down restaurant in the mall affords the ability to cut corners and leave much to be expected. As I walked in, all the staff was congregating at the front door nearly blocking the entrance. A manager among them, seemed little concerned for me as I walked in. The bartender as I sat at the bar showed even less interest in helping me after she appeared after waiting 5 minutes for anyone to go by without even a blink of an eye. I had assumed she was in the bathroom, but asked me to give her a minute so she could ring out other customers and get her tips because her shift was ending in the next hour. I actually asked if I could at least get a menu to which she said sure but just continued cashing out her tips. I was surprised when the food came and the presentation was less than appetizing, though the chicken was good. I suppose another benefit of being the only sit down restaurant, but still not worth the experience.

There are several Rubys around Connecticut. This one is pretty average. The one decent thing about this place is that there is rarely a wait time. The service is decent and the food is pretty good. The only issue I would have has to do with the entrance. There is always a rowdy group of teenagers hanging around in the front. I have been here several times. The salad bar area is usually pretty stocked and clean. I will continue to come here.

Hey, you’re in a mall. What more do you want? Speaking of malls. The Westfield Shopping Center, Meriden, aka«Meriden Square» is like stepping into a time machine that can only go backwards, only to one place, and every time you use it, the place gets shittier and shittier. I visited this particular Ruby Tuesdays twice recently in rapid succession owing to some transactions I was involved in at Mens Wearhouse wherein I would exchange American currency in return for the provision of a tailored suit the likes of which was light grey in color. I must say, I was pleased with most, if not all aspects of this restaurant. I have eaten at other Ruby Tuesdays and found them to be quite satisfactory. The service is always prompt, knowledgeable and pleasant. The food, albeit on the«thaw, heat and serve» end of the spectrum, is decent, and the atmosphere is inviting and lacks the goofy-shit-on-the-walls appearance of other large chain restaurants.(Looking at you TGI Fridays) I chose to review this Ruby Tuesday among the others I’ve visited for the simple fact that I’ve walked by it approximately 2,500 times without ever giving it a second thought. Never went in. Never wanted to go in. Until recently, if you asked me what restaurant that was, I’d be hard pressed to come up with the answer. After traipsing through the mall visiting what few stores are still open and getting the most of the experience by purchasing the following items; a pretzel dog, a Mrs. Field’s cookie, a hat from Lids, a cute top from Forever 21, a cheeky greeting card from Spencer’s Gifts featuring a scantily clad transvestite brandishing a large marital aid, a friend and I hove up to the bar at Ruby Tuesdays. We were greeted by a friendly bar tender who suggested that we mega-size our beers for an additional dollar. Best. Decision. Ever. Economically? No. No you’d be better off buying three 12 ounce domestic bottles which would net you 36 ounces of beer for $ 6 at happy hour prices. The mega size draft beer is 25 ounces and costs the same $ 6. In reality you are getting almost a full beer less, but, in my head, wielding that gigantic goblet of golden goodness, I was the king of Ruby Tuesday, and waitresses were my adoring concubines. Dinner was an appetizer of spinach artichoke dip followed by the avocado grilled chicken sandwich. Halfway through a most delicious sandwich I finished my mega size draft. «ANOTHER!» i exclaimed as I swiftly flung my dewey mug to the floor in an exaltation of thirst. The bar tender obliged, and I continued eating. Two mega size drafts later and my time at the bar was drawing to an end. I settled my tab and reflected on the time I had spent there. It was a restaurant I walked by countless times on my way to get a haricut, or purchase a video game, or buy a Green Day t-shirt at Hot Topic, and I never gave it a second thought. Having conquered my fear of this unknown restaurant, I stepped back in to the mall with a renewed vigor and promptly exited the building, for there was nothing left there for me to do. Goodbye Ruby Tuesdays.

Service here is amazing for a franchise. Donna our waitress talked to us like we were family. The service is on point and the food is always fresh. This location and the north haven location are like day and night. You couldn’t pay me to eat at north haven

The people were nice but the salad bar isn’t what it use to be and the food portions are very small for there expensive prices.

I usually like Ruby Tuesdays but this visit /location was not so great. The main problem was our server. We were done with dinner, the plates were never clearerd, and we had to try to find her for 15 minutes(after not seeing her for the 25 minutes that we were eating) to order dessert. The salad bar was good and we enjoyed that but my burger was not so great. I dont know if it sat out too long before the server got it to us but the bottom of the bun was a soggy mess. I couldnt even pick it up. When we finally got to order dessert we got the blondie sundae and it was hard as a rock and the ice cream tasted freezer burnt. Not sure what the issue was on this visit with the service and the food but we wont be back to this location.

This is the best Ruby Tuesday that I have been to. I don’t know what it is, but the food here is always fresher and tastes better than other places. That being said, it’s still a chain resturant and I don’t expect much. However, this place gives you pretty good food for such a low price. When you’re ballin on a budget, this is the kind of place that makes you feel fancy. I hate that it’s in the Meriden mall because you have to deal with all the 8th graders smoking outside, but can’t fault them for that.

I went there a few weeks back for a mid day lunch with my hubby. We were suprised to see how busy it was, then remembered UCONN was playing in the finals that weekend. There was a 45 minute wait, but the hostess suggested we sit in the bar area at a raised table where we could order right away, so that is what we did. I felt bad that the bartender was in charge of taking orders for bar guests, making all of the drinks for waitstaff, and taking our order for all the tables around the bar. It is not that he was not a good bartender/server, it was just ALOT for one person to do. My suggestion was to only have him do ONE or THEOTHER! He was so overwhelmed, it made it for a very lonnnnnng experience. Overall we had to wait a very long time for him to get our order, make drinks, and finally get our food. We left him a great tip becuase of all that I saw around him(totally not his fault) but atleast put another bartender on when it is BUSY?! I mean come on, people like their basketball and appearantly want to see it in the bar area(not us, but others) Overall I would go back to this location but I wouldn’t sit in the bar like we did if it is high volume/busy. Food was decent, but I ordered my burger med rare and it came out med well(I hate that.) I didn’t complain because the guy was so busy. Overall decent experience and they DID accept my RetailMeNot coupon on my phone, and I was pleased with that! So always look it up, the app is worth installing we got one meal for free!

I am writing this review on Ruby Tuesday’s for one reason… Andrew! He was our bartender and he was fabulous. We were just passing through because we were at the mall next door and decided to stop in for a quick bite since it was happy hour. Andrew was nice and inviting from the moment we walked in. He was friendly and helpful and even offered to make me a different drink if i didn’t like the one I ordered.(the salted caramel apple martini). There was no need, it was amazing. I had two! Since it was happy hour they had $ 1 off draft beer, $ 1 off wine, $ 5 absolute cocktails and $ 5 appetizers. My martini wasn’t on happy hour but only cost $ 6. We got the southern chicken fingers, barbecue chicken flat bread and the queso dip. I loved the chicken fingers, they were dipped in a batter that made them crunchy on the outside but were still juicy on the inside. My fiancé liked the flat bread and said it had a good crunch to it while the BBQ sauce added good flavor. We weren’t to impressed with the queso dip and without asking Andrew took it off out bill. While we were eating Andrew and his manager were discussing a new beer that had recently come in and offered to let us sample it. Overall Andrew was a tip-top bartender who had great suggestions and was very personable. The food was good and we had a enjoyable time!
