Nail Tek and Spa

I am new in Meridian area, I choose Nail Tek based on reviews, this place is amazing, extremely clean, friendly and efficient. I’ve been here twice. I got a pedicure from Ha (I think that how to spell his name) he did a very good jobs, he took his time, clean under the nail bed that I did not see other place does, he used sugar scrub to take off the dead skins, his massage is terrific. Come back for a full set of gel, Miki did a great job, my nails looks very nice (love it), the nails art look awesome, I am very happy with my experience and will come back here again

I chose this place based on the reviews — and it was open when I had the time to get my nails done. I went in for a full set. It seems to me that Jana is the only one to go to. Her photos on here look amazing. I have had acrylics before and these were bad. Extremely thick and uneven. I filed them down myself and wont go back… unless the technician who designed all the nails in these Unilocal photos is working. Those look awesome. The staff was very nice however.

The pedicures are no good if you like the massage part of the pedi you won’t get that here:(

My mom is a regular at this salon and suggested I try it out because I couldn’t get an appointment with my normal gal. I called about 3 hours before I needed to get in and they were able to squeeze me in even on such short notice. I went in not having any idea of what I wanted and Tume (I think thats how she spells it) knocked it out of the park with a cute glitter snowflake combo. Most salons don’t like doing the loose glitter nails and they will sort of hide it and not have it as an option unless you ask for it. Not here, they have all their glitters on the wall and were excited to do something fun! The salon is clean and not harsh chemical smells overwhelming you. It was great that they could fit me in last minute and I felt comfortable going in, they treated me like I was a regular customer. I will be returning here from now on!

This place was amazing. I moved from AZ a few month ago and have had a hard time finding a good nail place. I had been going to the same guy for years. Jana Nail Tek was currently busy when I went but booked me an appointment for later. Did a fantastic job on my nails which were HORRIBLY done at a previous facility. The price was good and decal was included! Very happy with my experience and will be going there again!

Great staff, but make sure you’re being specific or they’re gunna talk to their fellow nail teks too much and miss somthing/​not file what they need to file or file too much ;)

After reading the reviews on Unilocal,I had to try this place out and it did not disappoint. They were able to get me in quickly despite the busy location. Each tech made an effort to learn my name and the massage during the pedicure was out of this world. One thing I particularly liked was that they massaged my legs/​feet while my nail polish dried vs. finishing up and leaving me to sit there waiting for my polish to dry. It was a great treat and so nice to be able to leave right when it was done. What a great crew! Will definitely be back.

I visited this salon during a recent trip to Boise. I selected it because of all the great reviews on Unilocal,and I’m glad I did.
I had a regular (non-​gel) manicure with Miki, and she was terrific. She really took her time, making sure my nails and cuticles were treated properly. She gave me a great hand/​arm massage and she was so pleasant!
The salon is on the small side, so you may have to wait during peak times, but it’s worth it. The price, $ 15, was very reasonable for the service I received. I’d definitely return.

This was probably the best pedicure I’ve ever had. My nail techs Ha (I think that’s how you spell his name) and Miki took their time and did a great job. They were also so sweet and funny. This is definitely going to be my new go-​to nail salon!

What makes an awesome nail salon? Spotlessly clean, no overt smell of chemicals, they offer you a bottle of water when you walk in, they help you decide on just the right color, super friendly and professional staff who chat with you (or don’t, if you want to just close your eyes), and the very best spa pedicures for just $ 25!

I am in Idaho on business from Texas and was so pleasantly surprised to find this place. Everyone is very friendly and professional, the prices are great, and Mickey does a great job. I came in once for a gel manicure, we added some rhinestones and it looks great! The next week I came for a pedicure (mani and rhinestones were still going strong!) and had just as wonderful experience the second time. I highly recommend this place all the way from the great state of Texas!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! I moved from Portland almost a year ago and have yet to find a place that I love… until now! Nail Tek and Spa is amazing! I will never go anywhere else as long as I live in Boise. The attention to detail, the quality of products, the girly clean atmosphere, not to mention the employees are amazing. So nice and love to make you laugh. So glad I found this hidden gem!

I love my nails! After surgery, my natural nails just got weak, so I looked up salons near me. I went here based on other reviews, and was not disappointed! I’m really picky when it comes to acrylics, which is why I normally get shellac. The ladies in this salon were very friendly, teaching a newer employee how to do more complicated nails. They encouraged me to ask for whatever I wanted, bring in pictures, etc, so I could always have my dream nails. I wanted something delicate, but still a statement nail. I give them 4 stars because after I for home I noticed that one hand was slightly (I’m talking millimeters here) longer than the other, and I am quite particular. All in all, the prices are appropriate based on the work (being from Seattle, this was cheap at $ 50!), and I enjoyed the ambiance. I’ll be back!

I’ve been to multiple salons in the valley and no one has even compared to this place! I am not exaggerating when I say ive gotten the best/​favorite nail services here! They don’t add on surprise upcharges or pressure you into spending more money. All staff is extremely polite, considerate, takes their time and pays attention to detail, symmetry and satisfaction. I actually found them for the first time months ago on Unilocal and it was the best choice yet– It IS worth your time to check them out. They really do care; Seriously so in love with overall service and staff! #perfection

I can’t even being to explain how much we LOVE Janna! My daughter and I happily drive from SE Boise to her new salon at Eagle & Fairview.
This is not your average, run of the mill nail salon. Janna is simply amazing… she has a natural talent for nail art, whether it is something you want very detailed or just something in general. She paints everything by hand… no airbrushing, stencils or stickers. And the high quality of every fill is consistent. They do acrylics and gel fills, and by gel I mean true «gel» fills. (Some places will tell you they do gel fills, but they fill with acrylic and do a gel color.) Janna has hundreds of gel colors and every glitter you can imagine. I get my nails filled every three weeks and never have a lift or an issue.
Their pricing is very reasonable, the salon is spotlessly clean, and Janna and her husband Ha are two of the friendliest people I know.
Aside from nail enhancements, they do a great job at natural nail manicures, and have a whole bank of beautiful, clean massage pedi chairs.
If you are a nail girl, do yourself a HUGE favor and visit Nail Tek. You will never go anywhere else.
ONE TIP: Make sure to call ahead (208−898−0077) to see if you need an appointment. They do take walk ins, but they are sometimes very busy, so it’s always best to give a call first.

Janna and her husband are absolutely the nicest people ever. I’ve been getting my nails done by Janna for years and no one beats the great job she does. My nails always look flawless and a regular fill is mostly around one hour for me without ever having to wait on the client in front of me (I greatly appreciate being on time). I always wait three weeks in between fills and never have a nail break or chip. I never went to Nail Tek prior to Janna owning it; so I don’t know what it was like before, but now the salon is very clean and welcoming. I highly recommend Nail Tek.

New Owners & they are fabulous! I have followed Janna to many studio’s because of her awesome attention to detail & artistry in doing nails. Finally she & her husband bought their own place! You will not be disappointed! They are great people & give attention to each and every customer that comes thru the door.
