Came in for the first time in years. Ordered a t piece white spicy dinner. Sat down and picked up cold chicken. Bad food staff cutting up with each other, no concern for guest. Won’t be back any time soon.

I am always skeptical about eating Popeyes outside of Louisiana; particularly New Orleans. So when you are traveling with kids it is rare that they all want to eat the same thing and that is what led us to this Popeyes. It is in a perfect location off of the interstate surrounded by several other fast food chains, restaurants, & a strip mall. I walked in and immediately began to slide on the floor like I was skating. The gentleman yelled from the counter as he continued to argue with his co-worker, «Watch your step please! Our mop guy called out sick.» The floors were too slick that I could not make it safely to the counter, so we had to go through the drive-thru. Nevertheless I did recognize the«A» rating on the wall and the tables were clean considering it was packed on a Saturday night. The drive-thru service was quick and surprisingly they got my order right. I sampled each item ONLY for this review. The spicy chicken leg was hot, crispy, and fresh. The red beans & rice was seasoned well but the rice could have cooked longer. Overall this establishment gets knocked a star for poor customer service= slippery floors that can cause customers to hurt themselves is unacceptable.

Really rude forgot to wrap my corn and when I came back in to use the restroom and get proper wrapping for the really drippy corn(a cup since they were out of bags) they chased me down saying I had to pay for the cup. It was ridiculous embarrassing and made my road trip even more arduous.

While the chicken & biscuits are good, service needs help! They keep forgetting to put the gravy in with our order! It sounds petty, but how hard is it to read the ticket, see the gravy, & put it in the bag?! This has happened more than once. Plus, it’s not like we can just go back for it; we live @least 30 mins away. I really should’ve checked the bag but I figured, hey… it’s gravy, they’ll put it in. Nope! I mean, a large gravy is $ 3.49. So, basically I just paid for somebody’s 2 piece & fucking biscuit. I go to Popeyes because their food(especially their sides) are better than KFC& Churches. However, they need to implement some sort of «don’t forget to check the damn ticket before passing the food out of the window» training. The shit is ridiculous!!!
