Average food, average service, average wait time. Pros: good hummus, great smoothies, simple menu, convenient location(for me), relatively consistent, and they have baklava. Cons: limited sandwich variety, soggy falafel, chicken meat that I mistook for canned tuna, long wait around meal rush, and a bit expensive for what it is. I began getting takeouts from this café when they opened just around the corner from where I work. It’s extremely convenient and the food is consistently just below average, so I keep going back. But this is not a place I would go out of my way to find whatsoever. They do have really good smoothies, I give ‘em that. The food menu is extremely limited. In their selection, they have beef gyro meat, falafel, hummus, babaganoush, and tabouleh, and they make a handful(six different kinds?) of sandwiches using the same ingredients. When I heard they opened a Mediterranean place around the corner, I was excited they might serve kaftas, kabobs, kibbies, fatayer, lentil soup, but no such luck. I have not had any bad experiences, however, and they seem to use fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and other vegetables. Other than their shredded chicken, which I mistook for canned tuna, their ingredients are better than what I can get out of a microwave. The staff try their best to be friendly and accommodating. I believe they are overpriced for the quality of food, but I welcome the new ethnic range in this neighborhood.
