My daughters and I went on a rafting trip with Ferron’s this past Tuesday. We ended up being the only ones on the tour due to the fires and smoke in the mountains this year. Horrible about the fires for sure but cool we got a private tour. The tour guide was very fun and informative and great with my kids. He told us about the wildlife and the history of the river. He made sure to position the boat just right so my kids got splashed just enough by the rapids. I would highly recommend this company for your trip downt the Rogue river!

We used to always rent rafting gear from the Galice Resort, but over the years we have become disatisfied with their customer service and being charged for every little thing when it comes to renting a raft for the day. We tend to do the«do it yourself» trips and have never had a guided trip with Ferron’s. For an oar frame, self bailing raft with ice chest and life jackets included it is a flat fee of $ 95. There are no restrictions on put in times or locations. And they do not charge an additional shuttle fee like Rogue Wilderness Adventures and Galice Resort do. They are pretty laid back and whenever we give them our arrival time we always show up on time and our gear is ready and waiting for us. We rented from them twice last year and several times this summer and they now know us on a first name basis. We will continue to give them our business!

Absolutely the best! went here 2 years ago on a girls only trip. We still refer to it as «The best trip ever». I highly recommend ferrons fun trips. We had Sean as our guide he was great, but I’m sure they are all excellent.

We had a stunning half-day float with Wade of Ferron’s Trips today. Weather was perfect. Osprey, turkey vultures, bald eagles, mergansers, turtles out and about. My 15 year old and his dad went in a two-person inflatable kayak while the 11 year old and I took the big raft with Wade. Rapids were just right, not too big or small. The kayak tipped over just at the end of the biggest whitewater section but they recovered and got back in easily, and of course the big raft had a smooth ride. Wade was friendly, mellow, and fun. I definitely recommend this — it’s a gorgeous place with a great guide outfit!

Not only do these folks know everything there is to know about rafting in Southern Oregon, but they are a pleasure to be with.
