I ordered Santa Paws, (which is a really cute arrangement) to be delivered on my Aunt’s birthday which is December 24^th. So… I get a rather confused call from my Aunt today, December 4^th, thanking me for her birthday flowers but asking me why I had forgotten the actual date as the flowers were 20 days early! I called 1800Flowers, and they confirm that the delivery date was supposed to be the 24^th and not the 4^th, and that they are sooo sorry. They say they are refunding 50% of the order cost. They completely ruined my birthday surprise and made my aunt believe that I had forgotten her birthday date. I will never order from them again… ever. Oh, one more bizzare thing… they sent TWO arrangements for Thanksgiving to my sister, even though I only ordered and paid for one. Wouldn’t you think the florist would have caught this as a bit strange? Both items were identical! Avoid this company… they are a hot mess.

I am so disgusted by this company and I will never order from them. I had a funeral in July and ordered from them flowers for the mass. I told them that the mass was @9am and it’s important for the flowers to be there for the mass. The flowers never made it on time and when they came they were a different bouquet than what I ordered. I called and complained and was told I couldn’t get a full refund but a $ 20 coupon. I ordered flowers for my moms birthday and was instructed the flowers would arrive from 9 – 6. I told my mother to stay home because a delivery was coming. I was checking fedex website all day and was told that the flowers were delivered at 6:22pm. I called my mom and asked her if she received the flowers and she said no. I called and notified them and they kept claiming it was delivered. FedEx left the flowers on the front steps without ringing a bell or making a call, I had to argue with 1800 flowers for a refund for a service that was not delivered. After arguing with them for 45mins, they finally reversed the fee.

I unfortunately have to agree with the other reviews (which coincidentally fall under the «not recommended» category. Today was SO disappointing. It was my dad’s last shift as a fireman after working for 35 years. He’s finally retiring. Well he’s in CA and I’m in New York. Not only am I missing his retirement but I’m also missing Christmas! The LEAST I could do is send Treats and flowers to the fire station! So I put my order in and guess what! They actually arrived to the fire station on the same day as planned. Found my dad as planned. And then realized… the delivery WASNT in the truck. So as my dad described, «then they just drove away.» Not only that, but I get an email confirmation saying my order has been SUCCESSFULLY DELIVERED. Which was a LIE. And I would never have known had I not called my dad and fished around trying my best not to ruin the surprise only to find out that he didn’t receive anything. I cancelled everything and asked for my money back, cancelled my own plans and bought a damn plane ticket. It wasn’t about the money (even though it’s overpriced). It was about surprising him TODAY while he was still on duty. I will never use
ever again.
