Great work, friendly and extremely honest. We would not go anywhere else. My daughters car was hit my someone in a parking lot and there was a small dent on the rear bumper. I brought it in to get an estimate and was told there would be no charge! I brought the car in the next morning for the repair and it looks brand new. You cant even see where the dent was on the bumper. I have used Merrick Collision on 3 occasions and could not have been happier!

Let’s face it, auto body shops are like emergency rooms: You never really want to ever be there. But accidents like illnesses are a fact of life, so assuming you need their services, it’s always wise to go to a reputable body repair shop.
Merrick Collision is that (unfortunately) rare auto body shop that is forthright, prompt, honest, and on top of that performs quality repairs to boot. Upon entering, you’re greeted quickly for an estimate, given the details on price and time required, plus what paperwork applies regarding insurance. It’s a preferred shop for many major insurance companies, so that cuts out a lot of red tape otherwise necessary. During the work, you’re apprised of any new developments; you can also call them yourself to ask questions. Once the job is finished, you’re walked through the work in a leisurely fashion.
This is the way it should always go, especially given the stress such required visits entail. I can’t say enough how fortunate it is to discover an auto body repair shop that exercises courtesy and discretion, making an otherwise dreaded experience tolerable.

If you should ever find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing repairs on the bumps and bruises to your much beloved vehicle, this is the place to go to. they will make your car look like new. They are friendly, helpful, courteous, efficient and truly experts at what they do. My poor car was hit in the rear bumper. First I went to them for an estimate. Helpful and quick. Didn’t have to stand around forever waiting. I I went after the other person’s insurance for liability. Merrick Collision spoke with insurance and took care of all the paperwork. They are New York State Certified and are an approved repair facility for most of the major insurance companies. MC accepted the payment from insurance. I never saw a check. Did not have to deal with payment paperwork. Simply wonderful. They went the extra mile and painted over a small scrape. No extra charge. Amazing. Where today do you find a company with people who are gracious and kind who will do something for you just because they are nice? My car car back in perfect, like new condition. Polished on the outside and cleaned on the inside. Did not expect that. I drove away from MC in the best of moods. One thing you must know. If you want your car fixed in one day, forget it. These people are good and good takes time. Patience is required. Mine paid off. My car is like new. Doreen B.
