Milos Pizzeria

this was my first ordering from them. Their pizza and garlic knots are phenomenal!!! But I have to say these guys are great guys as well. My husband left his phone there at 9:30 and he only realized 3 minutes before they closed that he left it there so we called them and they said they had it and were okay with us coming back to get it. They could have said no but they are really honest guys and I definitely appreciate that and will definitely go back just because of that alone. Thank you guys!!!

I was always happy with Milo’s. It is now under new management and today I called to place an order. I gave my credit card over the phone and when the pizza was delivered, I was told they had no payment. The delivery guy asked for my cc number onsite and when i called the place, they had no recollection of my payment. Furthermore, I have no idea what they did with the paper they have my cc # on. Can’t trust them and I have no idea what they are doing now.

Great pizza but really good dinners, I love the Chicken Sorinteno. When they added delivery service it really became one of my favorite places.

I’ve only been here a few times, but each time I go it’s a pleasant experience. It’s a fairly simple pizzeria with a dining area in the back. Staff is very friendly and easy going, makes you feel comfortable and at home.
Pizza is pretty straightforward. Although, more Recently, my friend ordered a mushroom pizza and was disappointed to find out that not only was it canned mushrooms, but it wasn’t drained well– she claimed it still had that sour taste from the water in the can. She ordered a second pizza slice after and the staff was not only very patient and nice about it, but she said the second slice was much better!
Their Pasta alla vodka is very very good, the kind of good where you can’t wait for the left overs!
I’d come back and recommend this place to other people.

Food is always good. I love the shrimp parm hero wife loves the veal parm platter. The servers are the best. No charge for refills on the soft drinks in the restaurant part. Great place for a great meal.

We really enjoy the pizza here. Many varieties, always fresh pies being made and the counter guys are accommodating and friendly. The pizzeria section can use a little updating but it’s worth coming to again and again.

Bleh! Mediocre! Anything Italian that I order, they don’t have, or they can’t seem to cook correctly.

One of the best places in Merrick. The alla vodka is always my go to dish. Portions are tremendous. A meal can be split among 2 people and left overs are almost always guaranteed. Highly recommend any dish or pizza they offer.

WOW! I couldn’t tell you where to begin. From the wonderful service in the dining room or eating a quick slice and having a laugh with the managers. I enjoy everything about Milo’s.
I recently had dinner with my family. For my appetizer I had baked clams, steaming excellence. My entrée was also very phenomenal. Tasty chicken francese, and to wash down the lemony sauce I had the chance to drink my favorite glass of wine, Marlo. I will definitely come back and enjoy it again.

Food is fantastic and the service to die for. Will be returning very soon to try more of the delicious food.

Good pizza close to home. Greek and Caesar salad were standard although the Caesar salad dressing was quite yummy. My daughter claims it’s the best.

a new fresh sicilian pie just came out. i asked the guy if he could give me one of those slices instead of the last dried out sicilian that was already sitting there. he said oh sure! and started cutting it. while i went to the bathroom he put the old slice in the oven anyway and tried to give me that one instead like i wouldnt notice! slice was dry and nasty. shady stuff for a slice that cost the guy maybe 50 cents. never gone back since.

i have to say this is my new fav place to go for pizza, i got the bar pie which is 12″ personal size pie with meatballs and it was huge and delicious. The meatballs are really great and its got a super thin crust. I also got the tortellini soup which was pretty slamming too, i would’ve preferred more veggies but it was tasty. The people that work there are alway super friendly and nice,

Don’t Like Milos it’s Greeks trying to cook Italian food Not! Pizza is bad sauce I think they use Ragu and add pepper and some adobo to the sauce. As soon as I had pizza from milos I had mad dog heartburn and lot of acid indigestion. I would rate it 0 but I can’t ! And i could eat anything but can’t eat Milos. If u go to milos have your tum’s ready more dog food in merrick ny

Pizza is awful! The sauce they use is so bad I hate it. I love tomato sauce but the sauce here is bad.

If you like average décor, a veteran crowd and a place where kids fit in, Milos is your spot. Despite the mediocrity of the layout, the food was excellent. Try the vodka sauce, it is fantastic. The portions are generous too. It reminds me of New York Pizza in Bethpage before that place went belly up. What keeps Milos down is the quality of their pizza. I found it to be subpar. It’s worth the extra buck to order a pie and go get treated poorly at La Piazza

Disappointing. I recently moved right off of Merrick Ave and was excited to try all the different food places there and Merrick Mall. I’ve had about 10 so far and with the exception of Thai Station and Santorini, all have been at least somewhat disappointing, especially Milos.
I’m not a picky eater at all. In fact, I’m the opposite, so was surprised to see all these positive reviews after ordering Milos.
I ordered the Buffalo Chicken slice and the Greek Salad slice because of the Unilocal reviews (and especially the Greek one because it said «famous» on the menu). When I showed up to get my pizza, it wasn’t ready yet, which is completely okay except for the guy apparently felt pressured to get my order so he took it out of the oven prematurely. The result of this was pizza that was somewhere between cold and luke warm. Not good.
The buffalo chicken pizza itself (besides being below room temperature) was okay. Definitely not one of the better pizza slices I’ve had, but I’ve also had buffalo chicken pizza that was a lot worse. Now onto the greek salad slice. Don’t know why it’s famous. It literally was a pizza slice sans sauce and I think cheese with a greek salad dumped on top (lettuce, tomato, olives, feta cheese and greek dressing). Made for an okay pizza (at best) pizza, but nothing really unique about it to warrant the «famous» tag.
I’ll probably go back to try an entrée (sit down, not to go) and give it another shot, but steering clear of the pizza.

I always have the Greek salad slice and it never disappoints. My boyfriend loves the buffalo chicken and the Grandma slice was pretty good. Nothing extravagant but generally good selection and fairly priced.

Great pizza and chicken rolls, my favorite pizza stop when home in Merrick. Staff always friendly and accommodating, restaurant is pretty good but the buffalo slice here is unprecedented.

This is a great place for a quick meal. The prices are good, the pizza selection is diverse, and the service is fast and friendly.
Milos is divided into two parts. In one half, you can order a slice to go at the counter or sit at one of about six tables. The other half is a sit-​down restaurant. I have only eaten in the counter half of the restaurant so I can only comment on the food and service there.
This place has more ambiance and personality than most pizza places. There is also ample seating — a definite plus if you don’t have time for table service but want to sit for a few minutes.
The food: As I mentioned, I haven’t tried the pasta dishes at Milo’s, just the pizza. I’ve consistently been impressed. My favorites are the grandma’s pizza (I think my love of grandma’s pizza started at Milos) and the buffalo chicken pizza (again something I tried for the first time at Milos — not for everyone but I find it strangely addictive). The regular pie is also consistently good.
