Stocked Fridge

Just came across a Facebook post of another business closing. The Stocked Fridge thought it appropriate to attempt to publically «shame» the other company for having a past due balance with them. Unfortunately for The Stocked Fridge, it’s them that look bad, not the other company. If The Stocked Fridge would do this to one client, who’s to say they wouldn’t/ haven’t done it to others? It is never a wise move to air your dirty laundry on a public forum. Maybe The Stocked Fridge has learned their lesson, either way, I will never patronize their business, and I’m sure after this review, I won’t be the only one.

I am giving the stocked fridge 1 star for saving me a little time on cooking. I ordered the week before Thanksgiving and was told that i could pick up my meals on Tuesday after 3:00pm. I had my husband take time out of his day to pick up the meals because I was working. When he arrived at 3:00pm there was no one to be found. He knocked on the door and called the phone number and no one answered. He left a message and waited for 35 minutes. He was fed up and decided to leave and then noticed someone walking to unlock the door. He and the manager walked in at the same time and he explained how long he had been waiting. She offered NO apology, but only excuses of how busy her day was. She gave him the food and even charged him an extra fee because the price was wrong on the website. I knew they were going to charge him for that because I pointed it out to them on the phone that the price looked a little low. But after keeping him waiting for that long, don’t you think they could have apologized and said don’t worry about the few extra dollars. This was such a bad 1^st impression for us. We were so excited to try the stocked fridge as it would make our future life a little easier. To top it off, every meal was mediocre at best. My husband had also politely left his name and cell phone number with the manager and asked to have the owner call him. She never did!
We never wrote a review until now, because we sat down tonight to eat our last stocked fridge meal and it was overly salty and chewy, very disappointing.

The Stocked Fridge has catered for me on several occasions… while hosting other photographers for a full-​day workshiop, for the Grand Re-​Opening of my Photography Studio… and each time the food was thoroughly enjoyed and the event was handled professionally, making me look like a hero! Thanks to Chris and her staff for a job ALWAYS well-​done.

I wish I could tell you more about my personal experience with the food provided by Chris and her staff at my wedding. The problem is that though we ordered plenty of food, it was so good that by the time we made it to the table our guests had almost cleaned us out! Yes, it was THAT good!
At every step along the way Chris was friendly, responsive and willing to work with our changing circumstances. She and her staff provided a beautiful set-​up and, as I’ve said, our guests testified to the quality of the food.
Thank you Chris for helping us honor our guests with delicious food and an attractive table. It’s no wonder that the Stocked Fridge is expanding to a new location!
