Great place! Their snow cones are so soft. It’s like you are eating fresh snow. They have so many different flavors to choose from. I also like that they have low fat flavors too.
Since it is so hot you can buy actual snowballs to throw at all of your friends! You can buy 2 different sizes. I just found today that you can buy a full service kit that has the snow, cups, little flags and spoons. How awesome is that. This can be used for parties.
With it being so hot out I love Bahama Bucks!

, bahamabucks never ceases to amazing. Their staff is always so friendly and helpful. The facility is always clean. And I just found my all time favorite today. Blueberry muffin with birthday cake whipped cream minus the sprinkles

The shaved ice was delicious! My date brought me here stating «it’s like drugs in a cup you can’t get enough.» I thought he was exaggerating but the strawberry shortcake flavor was awesome! The employees are a bit rude but the strawberry shortcake flavored shaved ice is worth stopping in for.

Got a small and it was much bigger than I expected. When I ordered they asked if I wanted crème and I was skeptical because it costs more, but it was totally worth it. It was delicious!!!

The 3 employees (2 guys and a young girl) who were there around 2pm today (6÷40÷15) had exceeded their customer service. and this was my husband’s first time. its so good! he liked it and said he would bring his mom through the drive thru to try it out.

The shaved ice is more like fresh snow. It’s not the hard chunks of ice I remember from my child hood where the flavoring seeped down to the bottom .
The snowy ice soaks up the flavoring so every bite is delicious.
For those watching sugar intake they offer 20 SF flavors that are enhanced with natural Stevia.
In addition to shaved ice they offer iced coffees made with Kona Coffee as well as sodas that you can add any flavor to.

Ashame to say I went to this place with my family 3 – 4 times a week. My wife and 3 year old daughter were denied the use of a bathroom because they weren’t a customer at that moment. We were coming in afterwards to get out family shaved ice drinks. Never again will I spend a dime at this place. Manager said he could not discriminate because he didn’t want drug user coming in and using the bathroom. I said it was my wife and a 3 year old that needed to pee. Really?

Decided to go out of our way to check this place out because we had two bogo coupons from a fundraising booklet. It’s difficult to get in the parking lot, the shopping center is sketchy, and they refused to allow us to use both coupons even though we were getting 5 shaved ices. It would have been half the price at water n ice and water n ice has way better flavor options. Will not go back.

Came in today with my seven person family. I love Bahama Bucks and was excited to bring in my visiting East Coast family. I go often to the Chandler location and think Jeff Shaw is a great business owner.
In my order of seven, my young daughter’s order got mixed up and it ended up being blue raspberry and red raspberry instead of sour blue raspberry and sour red raspberry. No big deal and I have been working on my daughter’s confidence anyway so I sent her up to just explain the mix up and get the correct order. The employee said that she didn’t say sour and he would not fix it unless she paid. She came back to the table nervous and said they wouldn’t fix it. I went up and asked if they could help. They said I could buy a fixed cup at ½ the price and I asked to speak to the manager, Ryan Cooper. He reiterated the ½ price offer. I told him my daughter had said sour and he said that his employer said she didn’t and he believes him. I walked back to the table and let my daughter it wasn’t going to work out. I am not sure why I had the incident I had today because I think the guarantee of losing my business is way more costly than the one small cup. So disappointing and embarrassing to the family with me.

Employees were nice. The place had a lot of flies, They were flying all around the four of us and were constantly getting in our drinks. It was yucky. Also, they really need to clean the windows and the two employees there at the time we were there, had plenty of opportunity to do so while we were there, but just stood around. The wall of windows was just Gross. I was skeptical of this location, but it was ok, except for the flies and gross windows. I would not go back to this location again unless I was in that area and I was desperate for Bahama bucks, which is rare anyway. I would rather drive to the location on Power. The fat free watermelon is my flavor of choice. Also, did you know, even though it might be just ice and syrup flavoring, but a large, with cream can pack over 500 calories. Make smart choices people.

Bahama bucks is so good, best shaved ice ever. If your hot on a summer day, it’s the perfect place to go. They need to open one in north Phoenix/​scottsdale, it would be so big and so many people over their already know about it they need to open one over their soon

Perfect. This is Arizona so you always want something to cool you down. Good prices. wide selection– including ‘thin ice’ (zero calorie!) and smoothies. The cream they mix in (also comes in thin variety) …I don’t know what it is but it’s delicious. Bonus: drive thru. Extra bonus: the spoons color change with temperature.

I love this place I go here several times a week. I am addicted. My favorite flavors are the Jamaican punch, strawberry cheesecake and strawberry banana. I always get extra juice and add the cream. It’s Very good the snow they use is very fine and it’s like powder silky and smooth. Very good.

Best shaved ice in town. I’ve been coming here for years, wish there was more around! Wedding cake is my favorite flavor with cream and I like to mix the flavors root beer float is great. Go with a classic banana and eat yellow snow!

This is the best place! Out of all of the east valley locations this one is the best. They typically have flavors that the other locations don’t. Polar berry and strawberry or lime is divine.
If you ask for your snow to go they put it in a larger cup so it doesn’t melt in the car. There is a loyalty card –10 punch gets one free and there is opportunity for double and triple punches if it’s cold out. Closed on Sundays is the only negative.

WHAT IN THE WORLD DID I JUST EAT?
Also, why have I not eaten this before? Our little one was so patient for 2+ hours in the MVD, so we came here to get him a treat (based on previous Unilocal reviews). The intention was: pop in, get the kid something cool and sugary, slip out. Seeing the menu, the restaurant, and speaking to the staff, my wife and I knew that we had to try this treat out, as well.
First, any staff that goes out of their way to recommend samples and offer alternatives is okay in my book. After an intense interrogation of the poor cashier, we ordered a Snickerdoodle on ice cream, a Birthday Cake, and a creamy Strawberry/​Banana for the midget. Anyone that has tried their shaved ice knows that they absolutely blew us away.
Now, I’ve eaten many snow cones while out on the beach during summer vacations, etc. but those were distinctly crushed ice + flavored liquid and the inconsistent ratio between the top tip of pure ice and the bottom puddle of syrup was just something I had learned to be an inherent part of the shaved ice experience. BOY, was I wrong!
The «Sno» from Bahama Buck’s is incredibly fine, and the flavoring is spot-​on. I truly don’t have words to describe the consistency and taste of that incredible, mountainous cup of goodness. I turned to my wife and said, «this is where we are bringing every person that visits us.» That good.

I had a serious craving for Bahama Bucks and knew there was a location closer to me than the one out on Power Rd so I had to check it out. I’m never in this immediate area and there is a lot of road construction going on. It was still relatively easy to get to.
First impression… why are all the people behind the counter just staring at me and why does it smell like pee in here? Gross.
Ordered some shaved ice. Dreamcicle for me. Cherry and Cream Soda for the kids. Mine didn’t have a whole lot of flavor but was still alright. Kids loved theirs of course.
This locations has a drive thru and that was pretty amusing. It doesn’t move too quickly, but neither do the kids working inside so that makes sense.
I would rather go the location on Power, but I’m sure I will return to this one. I see there is one in Tempe as well. Maybe I will check that one out to see if it’s any better.
