I contacted them via their web site. For the phone number it stated«for verification purposes only.» They then tried to call me via that same number to go over my house. I asked the person why they were calling me when they stated on their web site that the number was provided only for verification, and I said I wanted to communicate via e-mail. I asked them to review English language definitions(i.e. verification purposes ONLY means we are not conducting this over the phone). Jonathan Ibrahim then replies: «Our company makes it a point to work only with people we enjoy. Please do not contact us again.» Great customer service. When your web site says one thing, and your employees do another, it is MY fault? From the other review, this is not shocking. If they cannot even communicate with a new customer properly, imagine them when you are depending on them for your real estate needs

After researching reviews, I decided to try the Brett Tanner Team since they were so highly rated. Upon my first call, I was contacted by Gabe Martin, who ultimately was the person I ended up «working with». Our first initial phone conversation was promising, as he asked me the standard questions and the ground work was set easily enough. Throughout our entire home buying process, from the beginning of May when I first reached out to the team, to the end of August when our house was closed, we never met Gabe in person. He used a «team» to handle everything, which can be very efficient I have no doubt. Tracey Chamberlain was the person who showed us the houses, and she was the only person we actually ever met. She was fantastic. She was available any time we needed to see a home, she was great at showing the homes, she was personable, and low pressure. When it came time to put offers on homes, it was a quick phone call to Gabe to let him know. He never advised us on what to offer, how to offer, and basically, we just lead all of that ourselves and he gave us the paperwork to sign via email. After reaching out for updates, he would call us and say we either got the home or not; though with the swift market, he was very slow to respond. Eventually, we did get an accepted offer. Gabe had no idea what the home was offering, and therefor had no idea what we ultimately were negotiating with the seller; there were home repairs already in the works and they were clearly listed in the MLS, to which, it was evident that Gabe never even bothered to read at any point. We did the home inspection solo. No Gabe. We were literally let in by Gabe giving the code to the inspector. The inspection showed nothing out of the ordinary, so we continued with the process. About a week after the inspection was complete, we needed to see some completed work in the home, so we contacted Tracey who let us back in. Everything looked great. During our signing of the papers, we met our seller in person, as she was a real estate agent herself and wanted to introduce herself. She was great and we exchanged numbers. On the day of closing and fully ready to move, we reached out to Gabe, asking when we should expect to meet to receive our keys. Nothing. No response. I reached out to Tracey who reached out to Gabe and reached back out to us to let us know that Gabe had said he would let us know. I found it very rude that Gabe wouldn’t reach out to us personally. Oddly enough, the SELLER reached out to us saying«Congrats on your know home, it’s yours!» when it officially closed. I reached out to Gabe again; nothing. So I reached out to Tracey again and eventually, she just gave us the code to the lock box to get our keys. That was the last contact any of the«team» had with us. We never received so much as a «congratulations» from Gabe or any of the Brett Tanner Team. Nothing. Eventually, my husband removed the lock box from the drain pipe in the front since obviously our $ 300,000 home purchase resulting in their hefty commission for little work just wasn’t enough for them to be bothered with us anymore. Our overall experience with the«team», namely Gabe, was really awful.
