Emergency Air

I had an issue with my AC unit, and called this business because I had a card for $ 100 off, which is used toward the service fee. The individual gave a laundry list of things that were wrong with the unit, primarily including a motor that was blown. Said $ 2,500 to get it running or to replace altogether. I knew I needed a second opinion, got one, and motor is completely fine. The second company I had come out, got everything running very quickly, as it was a short in the thermostat, which needed replaced. The motor was perfectly fine, and is running with no issues. It’s unfortunate that there are so many awful, dishonest companies such as this, that know an individual knows little to nothing about the actual condition of a major appliance or system of a home and will take full advantage at the drop of a hat. Do not use this company unless you enjoy being taken advantage of, but at the very least, get multiple opinions.

I got a free inspection from these guys as part of some move in package when I bought a new house. I thought… oh here we go… they’ll recommend changing all sorts of parts… or say I need a new AC unit because mine is old. Well I couldn’t have been more off-​base.
I’m a mechanical engineer and know a great deal about AC systems. I’m a service guy’s nightmare! Anyway, this tech came to the door, nice clean van, dressed neatly and just looked professional. He inspected the AC and that’s when the fun usually begins with me. But I couldn’t stump this guy. He did a very thorough check and answered every question I threw at him and finally said the system is running well and unless I’m going to be there a while to get the payback of a more efficient system, just keep this one running and you should be fine. Wow! No expensive sales pitch. Honest evaluation. He left and I didn’t pay a dime. How rare is this? Unlike some other companies I’ve used… that rhyme with Barker and Sons. How those guys got an ethics award is beyond me. I guess that’s why they are they are clinging to 2 stars on Unilocal.
I’ll recommend Emergency Air to all my friends. I get asked a lot because of my background but rarely recommend someone. My experience was top knotch!

Had tech out to my house, he was very professional, explained everything so I could understand. They worked around my needs and scheduled the service around my busy schedule. I would recommend then to anyone.

Recently had 2 HVAC units installed. Was pleased with planning, follow through, clean-​up and professionalism. Added long term service contract as well.
