Don’t take your boat here! This place is a rip off. Terrible customer service. I took my boat in on a Saturday after talking to a «service advisor» that told me that they were open and to bring it in to drop it off for service. My boat had a an issue with the tranny slipping. When I got there, no one was working. I had to have someone from the RV service department take in my boat. Three days later, Linda the«service advisor» calls me to tell me that I have bad gas and that was causing the slipping, What? The engine wasn’t running bad, it was the tranny slipping. Anyone can tell the difference, but they are the experts, right? So after charging me $ 300 to drain my «bad gas», I go to pick up my boat on a Saturday. Once again they are supposed to be open, but no one is there. The RV advisor has to find my paperwork and take care of me. He also shows me a water bottle of my «bad gas» that he pulls out of the desk drawer to show me what supposedly came out of my tank. So I take my boat to the lake the next weekend and the tranny slips 10 times worse! Can’t hardly get it back on the trailer. So I take it back and they say that they can’t get the boat to duplicate the problem and they have to take it and put it in the water. Finally they call me and say that the tranny was low on fluid caused by an air bubble when they serviced the tranny. Huh? It’s a Velvet Direct drive tranny. It only takes like 1 ½ quarts of oil. So if you drain the tranny and when you fill it back up if it only takes ¾ of a quart and it shows full, don’t you think there may be something up? So in conclusion, they screwed me on a service I’m sure I didn’t need, and couldn’t even diagnose a tranny issue. A Tige dealer? Really? I wouldn’t ever buy another Tige just because of this dealership. I wouldn’t even take my lawnmower here for service.
