Sandstone Apts

I had a pretty bad experience here. Within the first month we moved in there was a gun shot right out my front door (no one was hit thankfully). My boyfriend walked out to a few guys breaking into cars. There was a time my boyfriend and I were eating dinner and we heard some noise, looked out the window and there were two guys fighting with HUNTING knives on our patio. (They left the hunting knife there and we gave it to the police) Our toilet leaked from the base and flooded our whole studio apartment eight times within the two years we lived there and they refused to fix the toilet properly or give us new carpet, they would only replace the padding underneath. It smelt so moldy in our apartment. We couldn’t stay there when it happened because we had to move all of our stuff so they could bring in huge fans to try to dry it. Luckily my mom lives here so we went and stayed with her when that happened. There were times when the toilet would leak at night and maintenance wouldn’t come for a couple days so we had drenched carpet. They go through management like underwear. The cops were there at least once a week. And to top it off I could hear my neighbor peeing and singing every morning at 6am. It’s a good time. Never again. Ever.

I adore this complex. I have the biggest studio (basically a one bedroom, same sq ft) ever, and its so cute! The rent is a great price too, and the leasing office works with all kinds of credit. Easiest application process!
Maintenance is AMAZING. I got locked out of my apartment on to my second floor balcony (the sliding door locked behind me when I closed it, yay) and I called the emergency line at 11 oclock at night. Left them a message, and someone was there to open my door within minutes. I’ve never lived at a complex where the emergency maintenance line really responds like they say they will.
Great insulation for an older complex and a second floor apartment, I usually keep my place at around 67 degrees but 72 in my apartment is FREEZING. Great for the summer bills!
The only thing I would like is some updating, like darker cabinets and counters (theyre a light tan and pinkish tint) new appliances and a microwave, the studios apparently don’t come with one.

The staff is friendly, maintenance responds immediately. Never had any issues with neighbors, and rent is reasonable. I will miss everyone who worked there, they were always so kind and gracious to me, and always went out of their way to help with anything.

great staff right from the office to maintenance… everyone smiles and is pleasant. they were very friendly, helpful and right on top of any problems i had. i would recommend this apt. complex to anyone i know.
