Starbucks

I visit this Starbucks often because it’s on the way to work, however that will change now due to their customer service. Not a friendly place to go in general (now that doesn’t speak for every employee). However I’ve heard employees complain about their customers and become irritated for certain things that shouldn’t be a big deal, for example I asked for packets of honey and it became a very big ordeal due to the fact they didn’t have scissors. Starbucks is the same everywhere you go BUT it’s the employees and customer service that will set each one apart.

I go to Starbucks daily. I almost always go to the one near my house at Stapley and Baseline which has awesome customer service. However, I was out and about and stopped in this location with my daughter. Customer service was terrible. Worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to.
They were offering a new Birthday Frappuccino so my daughter asked her what it was and she said it was a Frappuccino with vanilla and birthday whipped cream on top. My daughter went ahead and ordered it and I ordered a Vente Americano. We went over to pick up our drinks and my daughter tasted hers and it tasted really bad. We expressed to the barista that it did not taste good, there was a strange artificial taste about it. Additionally, it did not have any coffee in it. When we asked her about the drink, at no point did she say it was a vanilla base which means no coffee. The barista acted put out and irritated. Said that’s just how the drink comes. Now every other Starbucks I’ve ever been to if you don’t like your drink they immediately remake it no questions asked. It was clear this barista was having nothing to do with that. I asked if we could at least add a shot of espresso to the drink to see if it could possibly fix the drink. The barista again acts irritated but takes the drink, scrapes off the whip cream, adds a shot and hands it back to my daughter.
While all that is happening, there’s no half-​and-​half out for me to add to my drink. So I ask the barista for half-​and-​half and she takes a tiny little paper cup and pours a tablespoon of half-​and-​half into it and hands it to me. I have a Vente Americano. A tablespoon of half-​and-​half is not nearly enough. So I ask her if there’s anyway I could just have the carafe of half-​and-​half so I could add it myself. She says they do not put out the carafes because they get warm. That’s fine, but I want to use the half-​and-​half right now and I will give it right back to her. No, she will not give me the carafe. She takes the paper cup back and pours a little more half-​and-​half into the paper cup.
So we finally end up leaving and I never get enough half-​and-​half for my coffee and my daughter’s Birthday Frappuccino was still disgusting. We ended up throwing my daughters drink away and driving up the street to the Starbucks on Baseline and Gilbert who couldn’t have had better customer service.

No matter where I am in the east valley. I always drive to this location. My coffee is always the same taste and it taste delicious. When I’ve been to others regularly I noticed that my coffee was ALWAYS a different taste. Not good. If I order a caramel macchiato, it should always taste the same. Not very different just because it’s a different barista. They are super nice at this location and clean! Recommend it

Always so clean and fast. Everyone is happy, helpful, and great at making things quickly. No complaints about this place so far.

Came here the other night. Ordered two venti white mocha fraps with coconut milk, three shots, double blended with no whip. Well let me tell you, this was THE BEST one I’ve ever had. It was made to perfection. That girl, should be awarded a metal.
I’ve had some horrible ones because they just don’t know how to make it correctly.
Thank you so much for making my night with just a coffee.

I’ve been going to the Starbucks on Val Vista and Baseline for about 6 years now. I’m a realtor, so I’ve been to more Starbucks across the valley then I can even count, but this one is a little bit different. The crew at my Starbucks go out of their way to remember you! They add that extra personalized touch that makes you feel special.
Over time, I learned that there were a few key employees at the heart of the store that really made the difference. Their pride in work and store spirit really gave the rest of the crew something to model. Liam, Megan, and the old store manager Bonnie were some of the originals store superstars, but the new store manager Shailee has recently picked up the torch and is just as influential on the crew’s demeanor. I was in the food and beverage industry for 16 years and I would have been thrilled to hire any of these people!!!

Much better service at this Starbucks. Thank you staff it’s well worth the 2 – 3 block drive for the better service.

I worked for Starbucks for a long time so I feel like I’m pickier than most people about service! That being said this is a wonderful store! I usually go through the drive-​thru and I am always greeted with a smile and fast service!!! Nice job creating that 3^rd place even through drive-​thru!

This is the worst Starbucks place for internet. It’s very, very slow. 56k modem slow. I’ve been here twice, and never again. But everything else was great. Really. The people are nice, it’s very clean and of course the coffee is great. So don’t take my one star review of the place as a hit, just know your not going to get any work or homework done here. All the other Starbucks I’ve been to never had this issue. Someone is trying to save a few dollars each month I guess. Well, all they managed to do is loose my business, and I go almost everyday, just not to this one.

Don’t care for the service here. Not very friendly. One young man in particular has an air about him as if he’s too good to be bothered by any questions from customers, as well as his fellow coworkers. In fact, I’ve come across him enough times to choose a different location for my coffee.

The drive thru line is foreverrrrrr long… but I can’t fault them for that. The staff is extremely friendly, especially the smiling faces at the drive thru window. Love that this is my «home» starbucks.

There’s nothing quite like stumbling into your local Starbucks after a 4 day bender that started with «a burger and a beer» for lunch on Friday.
Perhaps I should start at the beginning…
There you are, at your favorite bar, having that first beer to finish off the week. You power through a bacon cheeseburger and think, «oh fuck it, it’s Friday, might as well have another beer» … and another … and another.
Then your friends show up, and before you know it, you’re in the back Dan’s pickup truck on your way back home to play some Golden Tee with some friends and get shit housed.
The tequila comes out, 80s music comes on, someones wearing a Tinky Winky outfit, and the cops come at 3AM due to «multiple complaints». They’re cool though, so you invite them over next weekend to hang out.
One day blends to the next, and then *bam*, it’s Monday and you’re supposed to be working. So you drive yourself to Starbucks in a feeble attempt to caffeinate yourself back into sobriety.
So here I am, smelling like alcohol, regret, and poor decisions.

Service was okay, considering that one of the girls working there was kind of rude. More like a 3 and half star.

I like coffee, but because of the staff this is my absolute favorite Starbucks to go to. They are so friendly and get to know your name, and bend over backwards to make sure you start your day off right. I think it’s amazing that as many people as they serve in a day they know my name and drink order. Some days they even draw pictures or write on my cup. Liam, Natalie, Rose and Megan are always happy to see everyone-​say hi to them for me.

Love starbucks! Service is fast and efficient. I love being able to just drive thru lol! One thing that kinda sucks about this location is that its kind of hard to hear the employee and take your order because you’re right at the corner for the stop lights. Other than that, the employees here are very cheerful, nice and polite. Love the drive thru location!

This Starbucks is somewhat busy but, at mid morning the rush is over. I wanted to work on my iPad but, tables and service areas were littered or had spills. They needed a quick cleaning. Tables outside were left with litter and dusty. I cleaned my own table. Maybe more frequent cleaning? The latte was ok.

This is the drive-​thru Starbucks closest to my home and conveniently located near the 60. I always receive friendly warm service here. Last night I pulled into the line 5 minutes after they closed (I didn’t realize this at the time) and someone inside noticed me. I was served and they didn’t even tell me I arrived after closing until I asked what time they closed.
That’s my idea of customer service that exceed expectations!

Quick and friendly service! All Starbucks are not the same! The baristas here are wonderful. I enjoy starting my morning here and studying here at night.
