I can’t really write a review because I never took advantage of their services. And after this, I don’t think I will! I had called the day before and spoke with Rindi and made an appointment to have permanent eyebrow color done. I showed up 15 minutes before my appointment to find the shop empty and the doors locked! Thinking the shop didn’t open until 11, when my appt was, I looked at the sign on the door and it said 10:00 am opening time. I called the number I had for the shop and Rindi answered. I explained I had an appt for 11:00 and the shop was locked up tight. She said one of her girls must not have opened up. Really? She also said I didn’t have an appointment with her because she didn’t have anything written down. I told her that I had spoken with her or someone who sounded just like her and made the appointment. She said could I wait an hour and she’d be there. No, I can’t wait an hour for you to show up for an appointment you obviously forgot about! I rescheduled over the phone, but to be perfectly honest, I will not be there. If you can’t remember appointments and then not have anyone even open the shop up on time, what kind of quality work must you do there? Not very good I am sure. Do yourself a favor and AVOID this establishment. I will…

I gave Rindi free reign to cut and color my hair. She definitely knows what she’s doing. I love it ! ! She also did my permanent eyebrows that look so natural. I trust her completely, very professional. I found Static Salon through a groupon. I’m so happy I did, will definitely be back.

Pros: Everyone in the salon was pleasant and personable. Cons: Spent FOUR hours having my hair dyed ombré. Two of the four hours were spent ripping my hair out after the«tease method» of dying. When I say ripping, I literally mean ripping my hair out of my scalp, and completely destroying it with destructive and aggressive combing. By the end, my entire head was numb and in pain. The amount of hair in the brush and all over the ground makes me absolutely shudder. Can’t even imagine what the sink looked like, as that’s where most of the picking happened. I don’t have a sensitive scalp, but it was all I could do to keep my composure through this torturous two hours. I’m not sure what products were used, but they left my hair feeling greasy and fried. For the amount of time the conditioner sat in my hair while the knots were painfully picked at in the sink, it did nothing to nourish my hair(which was NOT already bleached or over-dyed as I prefer my hair natural and rarely use a blow dryer, straightener, or dye.) Had to take a shower immediately when I got home because the product used was making my skin break out around my scalp, forehead, and temples. Upon later inspection by myself and roommate when my hair was dried, the cut and ombré are TERRIBLE. The left and right side of my hair aren’t even(one is noticeably longer), and some pieces are super short while others are too long. The under layers of my hair are the shortest pieces, while the top layers remain longer. Awful! The ombré looks decent on the left-front side, but the entire top layer of my hair is barely touched by the dye, making it look like a strange brown under layer, with my natural blonde sitting on top. To be clear, I do NOT recommend this salon. This was an extremely stressful and upsetting experience that I don’t wish on anyone. Incredible waste of time and money. The best thing I can do at this point is wait for my disaster of a haircut to grow out so it can be fixed.
