FILTHY, FILTHY, FILTHY!!! I had to use my own SHIRT to dry myself off after taking a shower! Look at the pics! Filthy couch, old bed! Room stunk and was probably from human gas being stuck in the fibers of the furniture. Breakfast was weak… Mini muffins and OJ? The Towels HAD STAINS! I would have felt safer if it at least had a scent of bleach from being cleaned. If I could I“d give this place a negative 100 overall. Don’t go here! My baby, wife and I stayed here because we attended a wedding and initially were staying in Tucson with my aunt. The wedding was in phoenix. Filthy, filthy, filthy… OH, did I mention this place is… FILTHAY!!!

I boked the room because the photos showed a decent motel sixish room. They also advertized they had recently remodeled. Nothing could be farther from the truth.
The room had a queen bed and next to it on the wall was a head board where the second queen bed used to be.
We were afraid to sleep under the sheets because the side of the bed was filthy and stained. we asked for a blanket and got the kind of blankets movers use. It felt like a burlap sack. The pillows were lumpy and old.
The bath tub had a hole near the drain.
There was a closet with no doors and no rack to or hangars to hang your clothes.
They advertised in photos a breakfast area with breakfast. Another bait and switch tactic. They had no breakfast area. The breakfast they provided was coffee and donettes.
I wish I would have read the Unilocal reviews before I stayed here. i will be reporting this place to the attorney general of Arizona for the false advertising. Stay far wawy from this place. I am never ever staying at a Travelodge again. I will be filling a complaint to them as well as Expedia.

Bad Experience. Stay away. I had a number of problems that made this a stressful stay. For starters, no breakfast as promised on any morning. I was moved from my room after the first night because there was no hot water to that room. I had to move my things without any assistance at midnight. The next night there was no hot water in the new room either. Room keys did not work and I had to run back and forth many times to get into my room. I went through 5 hotel keys, until they finally told me I could only get into my room if I had the manager let me with the master key, because the battery on the door lock was dead. With no hot water I tried to warm up the room, but the heater didn’t work. I was only provided one thin blanket and no others were available. TV remote did not work. I asked to speak with a manager numerous times and was eventually told one wasn’t available unless there were extreme emergencies, like a hotel fire. I will never stay here again and am requesting a refund from Hotwire.

Initially, the first room we were given smelled like cigarette smoke. We got different room because of that. But next our room didn’t have hair drier. We asked for another hair drier, but another customer had taken it, and there were no other available. And this is in middle of winter time.

Girl when I checked in was nice I was about it The room is disgusting The carpet is disgusting to walk on with bare feet The TV only gets like 10 channels and most of those you could hear static The small refrigerator keeps making noise I had to unplug itThe pillows are very old and lumpy there is no blanket underneath the comforter just sheets so if you take the top comforter off because it’s disgusting you just have a sheet to lay down with do not stay here I will never be back

Nothing good to say so far.
I can’t speak for the location, because I know where phoenix/​Mesa is on the map, but not E Main Street or how central it is.
However, central to fast food and liquor stores. Beer and Wendy’s what else do I need?
On first impressions, motel is ghetto in a somewhat nice area?
The windows for the front desk were boarded up when I stayed there and the customer service was meh.
The folks staying there was a mix. Some traveling, some residenced. As I will explain.
Coming into the room, it was filthy as hell on inspection. Doors connecting rooms not locked.
The oven had rust all over and I found a can of butane in the drawer. Hmm, honey oil or meth lab in room? Or someone refills a lot of lighters.
Carpet was a little dirty, some things quite dusty.
The room itself was very old and dated. The mattress firm as a rock, which is cool with me. Shame I wasn’t putting it to better use.
A/​C in this unit worked like a champ. Huge plus.
I may stay here again, in a cleaner room.

The staff is very friendly and very helpful. It is slightly out dated but you get everything you pay for and more. I would definitely stay here again.

I would give it no stars if I could. They don’t clean the rooms during your stay. They told us that they only clean them every 4 days. That is absolutely disgusting and should be a health violation. Needless to say, we ended up eating our costs and leaving early.
STAY AWAY, FAR AWAY!!!

This was the absolute worst place I have ever stayed. Our «Non smoking» room reeked of cigarettes, the TV had one channel, the bed had NO blankets, and it was incredibly noisy with what I suspect are drug addicts coming and going all night long. The curtains in the room were 2 different lengths on the same window, and I wouldn’t walk barefoot on the carpet. We paid $ 70 to stay at this dump. Never again will I stay at any Travelodge. Everything I brought into the room smelled and had to be washed. If I hadn’t been so tired after driving for hours, I would have stayed elsewhere.

but I was surprised to not see anyone Unilocal about it! A Unilocal review would have been really helpful, so here I go.
I was VERY happy with my stay here. I was really hesitant to book a room here because of all the bad reviews, but I didn’t want to spend alot of money and I needed a place that was dog friendly. Upon arrival the man behind the counter was very friendly. I had about 10 million questions about where things were located and he was very helpful. Our room was nice and big and very clean. It kind of smelled like paint when we first came in, but it eventually went away. The AC was nice and cold, the beds were comfy, and the maids were very accommodating as well. Also, the pool was great, people seemed to only swim at night, but I was trying to take advantage of the Arizona sun for an awesome tan, so I always had the pool to myself! Overall, it was a great deal, a goodnight stay for 39.99! If you’re on a budget, I highly recommend this place!
